Nice overall profile of the sub4m Kite sedan. I think Tata have a good product on their hands. It seems to be have a lot of muscle in the way the metal has been skinned and thats a good thing. The Zest is already competing with the Dzires, Amazes and i wonder if the Kite sedan will create yet another sub category !!

The overall feel of the design line looks positive. However, I hope it won't share the look of any Tata product, especially the headlights. Humanity line for the face is fine, but it should stand out at the very first glance. TATA, you need to make a come back, a big one is what we expect at Team BHP

Not sure if this has already been published. I have received info that the Kite Hatchback as well as sedan are expected to be launched within the next 1-2 months.

Also a small SUV using Safari platform and with design elements matching Sierra is expected to be launched in next 3-4 months.

Wow !!! If the news about Kite based sedan/hatch and the small Safari is all true, would be great to see TATA vehicles flooding the market.
But, to me, it feels like "over ambitious" !

As per the IBT report, Tata Kite sedan and hatchback can be called Zica and Sway! "Zica" means extension and "Sway" means to control.

3-4 months for a new product?! Storme with minor changes took an year (IIRC) for TATA to launch.

Yes, for me Kite sounds better than Zica or Sway. However if they name it Kite, people will make fun. Kite ('Patang' in Hindi) Chala raha hai, ya uda raha hai (Are you driving or flying it?). Tata go for Kite. It is way better.

A great news if what Sir DB has said earlier is true. A SWB spiritual successor to the Sierra having strong off road credentials.

3 months launch?, but no spy shots or mules running around. Going by Tata/Mahindra standards the mules should be running for the last 18months :P

Waiting for further news and clarifications.

I know this sounds too unrealistic based on precedence. If they had mentioned the small SUV to be based on Nexon then it could have been realistic.

What was surprising to hear was use of Safari's hydro foam chassis and design elements of Sierra. We have never heard about anything of this sort being developed, let alone seeing test mules.

Let's see if this news turns to be real or just hearsay.

Tata must put an end to this hatchback sedan clone rubbish which is becoming eyesore across the manufacturers.

Launch a new hatchback or a sedan, let them be apart in looks, not an extension.

This kite sedan seems to be a full fledged one, a possible replacement of Manza.
