I doubt! For the guys who have snapped prototypes, they would still see the screen and may misunderstand for the Zest unit. The below piece clearly shows the same unit as Tiago and with the shape, I still can't believe a Zest unit could be fit in a Tiago!

Going by the pics posted by jeepster, I don't think it is proportionate by any means.

It is very rare for Indians to get a car that makes them look at it twice. I really like the aggressive stance of the Kite. It is so sleek, confident and aggressive! In a way it reflects how far Tata has come in just a decade.
When you compare it to what's available in the market today, this looks like it came from the future.
I doubt if this will be a sales dud. It is too beautiful to not appeal to even the most vociferous skeptics.
The only thing that might go against it is FE, because unlike the competition, Tata petrol cars are still not known for stellar FE figures. Maybe they'd be wise enough to launch a CNG variant right from the start-will enable them to compete head on with the mightiest competitors.

That stretched LED high-mounted stop lamp looks nice in my opinion. It will provide a unique derriere to the Kite5.

So following are the major add-ons on the Kite5, as compared to the Tiago:
1. Rear Armrest
2. Automatic Climate Control
3. Reverse parking camera

Now it again comes down to the price! If Tata manages to continue the mouth-watering pricing philosophy of the Tiago, this one could turn the tables in the compact sedan segment.

And ofcourse there's that 'one class breaking feature' kept secret.

Zest and Bolt barely had a difference of 30k between them.

With Tiago already doing 'decent' numbers I would be willing to pay 30 to 40k more for this beauty.

Boot capacity sounds too good to be true. Not sure where they'd eke that extra space.

Am not sure they'd price this Tiago+30/40 K. My guess is it'll be Tiago+1L. Tata won't do the Bolt mistake here (I hope).

May be Kwid in the background of Kite 5 is just a coincidence. They may have almost all cars available in India and many from abroad inside TATA's Engineering and Research Center in Pune.

I have a hunch that this is gonna be a smash hit. This has all the ingredients for a chauffeur driven car in the rural areas (features / status) for an affordable budget (expecting TATA to continue the price strategy)!

If former, then which model is exactly "Kite"?
