Black might not be offered since Tiago/Zest/Hexa/Bolt all of them miss that color option.

In addition to Tiago colors, we may see 2 New Color Options. Wine Red (Replacing Berry Red) & Copper (Replacing Orange). White/Silver/Brown might get carried over.

Next week we shall know it.

No, it is not correct. There is no separate button for boot opening in ARIA Key. The remote unlock is for all doors. Single press- only driver door unlocks. Double press- all doors including boot door unlocks. Central button is for Head lights.

I never said it is on the key, The lever is on the boot door itself, which is absent in the Tigor. I know as well have been driving an Aria for 5+ years now 😜

In the 'online booking' section, when i select bangalore as the city, i just see 3 dealers listed, without Concorde. May be they are still updating the website or is it that online booking is restricted to only to set of dealers.

Do we have any pics for all the colors?
Is Berry red the same which was shown in Geneva edition cos if it is i am definitely booking that one. Otherwise, I am interested in striker blue which i hope isn't the one launched in Tiago and is like the one which comes in Baleno.

Mayank Pareek being interviewed by Hormazd post the Tigor launch.
Time will tell, but in my opinion, Mr. Pareek's hiring was one of the finest moves that Tata Motors could have pulled off. Nothing earth shattering in the interview itself, but Mr. Pareek acknowledges that Tata were slow to launch new vehicles, and also doubles down on Tata's bet on design.

Except Copper Dazzle, which is a new, interesting color, the rest are same as Tiago.

You can visit the Dealer's stockyard to have a look at the other color options on a Tiago and make your decision.

And congrats in advance if you are planning to go ahead with the booking

The Tigor petrol starts arriving at dealer stockyards as well. Captured in it's unique Copper Dazzle shade here.

re: Tata Tiago-based compact sedan. EDIT: Tigor launched at Rs 4.7 lakhs

Overdrive First drive review is out. Some points to note from this review and others:
  1. Petrol engine is the better of two. It gets a counter balancer, which results in a cleaner acceleration.
  2. Larger wheelbase results in better cabin space. Rear legroom is also good.
  3. The top trim is well loaded. Touch Screen music system with 4 speakers and 4 tweeters, projector low beam, LED tail lights, electric boot release, smart looking 15 inch alloy wheels for petrol variant and 14 inch for diesel, biggest boot in the class.
  4. The third brake light looks awesome and is carried over from the concept.
  5. Twin airbags are standard however ABS might be offered on highest trim only.
  6. Diesel feels underpowered for Tigor, due to additional weight.
  7. NVH is not good, especially at higher rpms.
  8. Some Tata idiosyncrasies remain. No ACC display screen, no boot switch, the light button on remote opens the boot, age old pull up type door locks.
  9. The car is a decent urban runabout. However, it doesn't have the punch for highways. Four cylinder engines would have made this car a complete package.
Overall I think killer pricing coupled with those handsome looks will bring more volumes for Tata Motors.

re: Tata Tiago-based compact sedan. EDIT: Tigor launched at Rs 4.7 lakhs

Called Tayal Motors which is near my home and they still haven't received any Tigor even for display. The lady will get back to me as soon as they receive one in couple of days. Won't book before taking a thorough TD.

A little disappointed by the initial reviews regarding diesel engine as that's the one I want. If it feels underpowered with 4 on board and some luggage, then I have no option but to go for Figo D Titanium.
