It seems that TML has started final phase of road testing for this lovely compact sedan.

Wow, that is an absolute stunning looking car - possibly the best looking sub 4m car. Only if tata can roll it out earlier and with those alloys and blackened roof.

Don't think so - more of a pseudo-notchback where the angular variance between the glass and the boot is low giving a sleeker look - but the boot is all metal and the glass area I think does not lift up.

The glass area definitely does not lift up. If you closely observe the images you will identify the same.

With Kite and Nexon, Tata has had me glued to their offerings.

Considering the extra weight of the boot and going by Tiago's review, it'll be interesting to see how the engine is going to handle the extra load, especially the petrol

I do hope that this car comes with proper 4 cylinder engines just like the Zest. Anything below that will be a compromise.

Hope so, but I doubt it. They'd want to keep the pricing as close to the hatchback as possible, and its going to be difficult to do it with a different engine

What a superbly proportionate design! The rear reminds me of the erstwhile Honda City, and that's a wonderful thing.

Ever since it made it's debut at the Auto Expo, the Kite 5 sedan has been in my radar. Lovely flowing lines at the sides compliment the fantastic, curvy rear. I dare say that when it is eventually launched, it just might be the most beautiful notchback in it's segment.

Combine this awesome-looking offering with an equally fantastic price, Tata. Add a big dash of proper publicity and media highlighting to this, and you will have a sureshot winner in the sales charts.

I know because I will be buying one for sure.

Tata Kite 5 sedan is really Amazing looking Car. I am sincerely praying that it is priced in correct value for money bracket and the car should be super hit for Tata. They should garner at least 5000 sales monthly and support it with a very good sales and service network.

Coming back to the car, it is very well proportioned car and rear looks astonishing - inspired from jaguar. Overall, good job tata.
