Maruti Suzuki's Premium outlet sells 100,025 cars as on June 2016. Has plans to expand the number of NEXA outlets to 250 by March 2017.

Till end-June 2016, the S-Cross had sold a total of 28,795 units and the Baleno 71,230 units, which add up to 100,025 units. While the Baleno has averaged sales of 7,914 units a month, the S-Cross has a monthly sales average of 2,399 units.

At the time of the S-Cross launch on August 5, 35-40 Nexa premium retail outlets had sprung up across the country, set up by existing Maruti dealers who made the investments in the infrastructure and processes. Since then, over the next 12 months, the Nexa network has been ramped up to 150 across 94 cities in India and has a strong team of over 3,500 relationship managers

Should Maruti introduce a Nexa brand for premium well made vehicles too ? They could take the S-Cross as a start for how to build a premium vehicle and carry on forward towards higher segments in both cross overs and sedans.

They wouldn't have to give crappy, safety challenged vehicles if one is willing to pay for them.

Maybe they were only visiting this small town, but damn, that is a shoddy setup for even a regular brand, forget something premium like 'NEXA'.

This is hilarious, the "Bhavya Pradarshan" tagline had me in splits.
This dealer is really killing all the efforts and crores Maruti has spent in removing their "cheap cars" tag, wonder how Maruti top honchos would respond once they come to see this brilliant Nexa set up.

The cows in the backdrop and all that slush seems good to test their cross over S cross and do some drifts in the slush with that red Baleno. On a similar note, i had seen a Nissan outlet under a peepal tree in Delhi, they were also taking bookings last year. For a premium sub brand Nexa, this is just not done, looks downright cheap.

Maruti Suzuki plans separate servicing network under Nexa chain - To pilot it this year.

(MSI) plans to have separate servicing network for its products sold under the premium retail chain.The company plans to add two more models to be sold from the Nexa chain -- Baleno RS and Ignis hatchback -- by the end of this year, thus taking the total number to four products.

Currently, we are leveraging on around 3,000 traditional workshops (for Nexa products). But gradually, we plan to have separate Nexa workshops. This year, we plan to run a pilot project and thereafter we are looking at rolling out the initiate

Baleno production to be ramped upto 10k and further to 12k units by October. Brezza has been ramped up to a production of 10k units a month from July.

15 new products from Maruti Suzuki and 250 Nexa outlets by 2020 , retail strategies for all those models is to be determined.

Maruti Suzuki launches My NEXA Concierge in New Delhi Airport T3 Terminal. I think it is a fantastic service for MyNEXA members. The lounge has complementary Wifi, food and beverages along with business services. Great thinking by Maruti Suzuki!

Well, as long as they can charge a premium for whatever they "call" premium and get away with it, we will be stuck with this flavour of premium forever.

On a related note, if Range Rover put outs out a print ad in the UK with lush greens and some well-fed cows in the background, we would consider that picture as a premium off-road vehicle for weekend gateways to the "farm house".

New NEXA showroom coming up on Hosur road, Bangalore. This is in between Audi and BMW showroom on the same side. Looks like this one is from Surakshaa.

One NEXA showroom opening up near Nagole area.

Not sure who is taking it up but it is huge in size. Length of the showroom is good enough for excellent attraction that it'll grab.
