Re: The Nissan Kicks Crossover. EDIT: Launched at Rs. 9.55 lakhs

Just noticed that Nissan Kicks is available on subscription now. I know they announced the same during the launch but I never saw an option for getting one out on subscription.

However, now Nissan Kicks (only) is available through subscription and you can leave your details by registering your interest on the website, which will ask for name, phone number and email id only. I have left my details, in order to check what would be the effective cost on subscription.

Attaching the details provided on the website in case any one is interested.

Desperate times calls for desperate measure. While its a sensible move to grab some buyers, I still firmly believe Nissan should ditch Renault and takeover what's left of Mitsubishi India from HM and start building new platforms with Mitsubishi for Asian/South American markets with India as export base.

The biggest plus is the private number plate. I'm sure a lot of people interested in leasing would've been deterred by the black and white number plate.

Thanks to our government, the incredible GST on lease makes subscription models unviable

Any Kicks Diesel owners here? How much fuel economy are you getting in the city as well as on the highway?

Sad state of affairs for Nissan in India. A car which sold avg ~ 200 units/month is their Bread & Butter Model.

But yeah there is nothing else (Micra/Sunny) which is moving from their Showroom.

Hi Sahil, my Kicks diesel has run 5k+ Kms now. My daily route is highway + city usage. It returns about 18-19kms/ltr. So far its been steady going, except for a jarring noise from the plastic casing of the boot (on the inside).

Given the COVID 19 situation, would it be a good idea to go for a subscription based car? One never knows where it was used & how it was used no? I think under normal circumstances it is a great idea

As far as I remember, on the website it was quoted that it will be a brand new vehicle.

Re: The Nissan Kicks Crossover. EDIT: Launched at Rs. 9.55 lakhs

Looking at 2020 Nissan Kicks facelift pics. I am not a fan of the latest design language. It looks awfully similar to the "Bulgarian Beard" of the mid 2000s Audis and I was not a fan of it then, not a fan of it now. :(

So Nissan is not actually launching a facelifted Kicks in India, at least not the one spied in the above pictures, which has this very different grill and headlight set up. The BS 6 versions which have been launched now, is not this
Facelift version and it looks like nothing much has changed except the new turbo petrol engine.

I am quite glad at it then. I am on the conservative side of things and do not like my things to be too bling-bling
