Any info on the price please. Hope Ford sticks to the current price. IMO with TUV300's launch there is pressure on Ecosport.

I don't think the Ecosport is under pressure feom the TUV . If Ford maintains the current feature distribution but adds airbags to the Ambiente and Trend, then the Trend will be the version to buy as it already has ABS. J mean the Figo Ambiente has dual airbags standard , so its fair the more expensive Ecosport has it as well.

I don't think Ford will increase the price unless there are significant features added.

Any AT in the diesel version also fully loaded? Unlike the Creta, where they have not given a fully loaded AT.

A top end diesel AT around 13L OTR will be a great option to sway even more people trying to stretch to creta

As per the conversation, the SA said there would be slight marginal increase say 25K increase across variants and can expect Ford India to reveal the prices by the mid of next month.

Just came back from Ford showroom and the SA has positively confirmed that only change coming to Ecosport AT is the addition of Push start button and Leather Upholstery will be ommited. The launch is expected in next two weeks.

Let the remove leather upholstery. Between the two, I would much prefer keyless-start.

Test drove the Figo aspire and had a small conversation with the SA about Ecosport and it is definitely launching in October. Was itching to know details about the stang but it seems to be well guarded at the moment.

Re: Scoop: 2015 Ford EcoSport facelift spotted testing in India

Spare wheel / Run flat is a mandatory, rather legal requirement in India. And to my best memory there's very little space underneath to accommodate such a big wheel.
I feel this wont make it to India.

Re: Scoop: 2015 Ford EcoSport facelift spotted testing in India

Ford is being rather coy about the anticipated Ford Ecosport Facelift. They should atleast start the bookings in the month of October. Is the fear that Ecosport might cannibalise the sales of Aspire holding them back? Given the runaway success of Creta, they should capitalise on the demand for SUV's asap.

Re: Scoop: 2015 Ford EcoSport facelift spotted testing in India

Also would appreciate feedback on the likely price of Ford EcoSport Trend + 1.5 TDCi. The current price of Ford EcoSport Trend 1.5 TDCi is 8.61 lakh Ex-showroom Price (New Delhi). The SA is mentioning that the bookings will start by mid of next week for the facelift and the Ex-showroom Price for Trend+ would be 80k to 1L higher than the current price of Trend which seems to be unrealistic.

Re: Scoop: 2015 Ford EcoSport facelift spotted testing in India

Had been to the stock yard to check out my new Ford Fiesta and got to take look new facelift Ecosport. According to the Service Representative the Titanium version has Auto Headlights and Rain Sensing wipers among other upgrades. Most of it comes the Ford Fiesta.

Awesome scoop there PratikPatel and thank you for sharing.

That I believe is also the new shade that will make it onto the facelift. Personally, I am not a big fan of Ecosport and hands down that shade will not change my view any sooner!!

Re: Scoop: 2015 Ford EcoSport facelift spotted testing in India

This I don't think is the 'face-lift' of the EcoSport from Ford. This is rather the market correction or 2016 model updates ( like what VW does with Polo & Vento )

I expect the 100 PS engine on the car, and a few additional features here and there to keep up with the new launches and gain some of the lost lime light. I still think Ford will give it a more comprehensive face lift sometime towards the end of 2016.
