Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() Thanks for sharing the showroom pics guys, the pearl white XUV looks awesome ! It incorporates the new design of the bumper in the best way imo. Don`t wanna nitpick about the interiors and other stuff as the new overall package seems pretty VFM to me. Will wait for a few months to see how it performs and then take a call. P.S - Hope we see the official team bhp review soon. |

| ![]() It's not utopian, kids below 10 years should never sit in the front seats. Also the reason they dont want to sit is because we have the pathetic habit of sitting in front with our kids in our laps. Kids should always be made to sit in a car seat in the back seat. And once they do that from the beginning they know that's where they are supposed to seat. ![]() |

| ![]() Guys, we are going way off-topic on this thread by going on and on about children in front-seats. I am pretty sure there are other threads where that discussion would be better suited. Let's get the discussion back on track and talk about the facelifted XUV. ![]() |

| ![]() ~20L for this vehicle is insane. Like the interior and the exterior is getting better but seriously, at the top end, I'd look for a used Fortuner, I think. |

For a SUV enthusiast these 2 vehicles hardly stand in comparison, though grossly over priced a Fortuner is still a Fortuner despite whatever bling a XUV bring with it. Last edited by m_upreti : 28th May 2015 at 17:55.

Those enthusiasts are tiny minority, the majority uses Fortuner for going to shopping, so from that perspective an XUV probably offers more value overall.

I had the same question. The dashboard and plastic quality of erstwhile W4 was a tad lower compared to W6 or W8. Is W4 any better now, has anyone seen W4 interiors? |

I visited 2 dealers in the city. Both had only W10 and W8 on display. Guess W4 and W6 variants have not reached. Almost all dealers got limited shipment and are awaiting the next batch to arrive. May be you may try visiting a dealer in a week or two. |

Coordinating with the dealer and being present when a W4/W6 is getting prepared for delivery to a customer OR visiting the stock-yard would be your best bet currently.

Sorry there is no picture of W4 and W6 of the facelifted model. But I presume it is the same as earlier version except for the interior color change and new fascia. When you see the feature list of both W4 & W6 there are no changes, whereas in W6 they have removed the fog lamps, camping light, 2nd row and 3rd row reading lamps, 2nd & 3rd Row charging points and there is no chrome on the rear tailgate applique. |

| ![]() Frankly I want to see how the cowl matches on the monochrome screen. Second, seat cover quality is important too. So I'm curious |

Best bet is to check out a car getting delivered. Even I was interested in W6 but didnt get to see it in showroom. I resorted to checking out used cars on sale and also a car getting delivered. Personally I was not too happy about the fabric quality atleast on the older version. Need to see it on the new XUV. |

| ![]() The description of the upholstery remains the same as the previous version. W4 has Jacquard and W6 premium fabric so I don't think there is a change in the quality of upholstery. Living with beige is going to be tough especially when it's fabric so most might end up getting custom leather seat covers. I see W6 and W4 as value for money. W4 is going to mainly miss the cruise control and monochrome infotainment as compared to W6. Interiors of the erstwhile W4 was pathetic. I hope that's on par with w6/w8 in the new age model. |
