Hi,
Finally, after a long wait saw the XUV facelift n flesh

Few quick observations when the XUV was without the curtains for a couple of minutes:
(+)Overall a great job from Mahindra, looks much better in reality than pics
(+)Biggest improvement is on the interiors, Black & Beige(light beige though black is a bit shiny) for all exterior colour options
(+)New headlamp unit is definitely a head-turner, neatly integrated DRL
(+)Alloys look better than pics, neat design
(+)Sunroof lovers, time to cheer! welcome W10
(+)Single tone leather upholstery(beige,atleast for white body colour which i saw) looks premium

(-)AT lovers, sad news no AT with this facelift
(-)Chrome around the fog lamps is standard, not an accessory as we wished for
(-)Bye bye dolphin grey colour which is replaced by orange-ish colour(very similar to one on the swift)

Other points:
Satin white is replaced by pearl white(more of white than cream now)
Sales manager told that regenerative braking is present helping improve efficiency
He also mentiones improvement in suspension set-up improving the ride quality
There is a chrome beading running around the side profile along the lower edges of windows which he mentioned is for W10 only

Will post the pics in evening as the official unveiling is at 3pm and wasn't allowed to click pics before that, respected it

• Keyless entry and go is a great touch
• Both W8 and W10 now gets a 18" inch screen
• W10 has a voice messaging system. I think it is like the talking Scorpio!
• Braking Energy regeneration - very cool if it actually works!
• Electronic steering lock - what is that?
• Powered driver's seat - very very cool!
• Reverse camera standard on W10
• Bonnet has hydraulic assist in the W10

Micro hybrid is standard on all models. It would have been nice if they provided more details on how it works.

Now, the buyers will be in dilemma to select between W8 AWD and W10 FWD with the price being the same.

Is it only me who finds the position of the START/STOP button odd? (Check highlighted red part in the pic) And the external Chrome bits look a little overdone. But other than that a very competent product and the pricing looks good. Looks like my Safari is going out and the W10 AWD is coming in.
