CARS? We need something else!

You'll talk about the EVO8 and cars like this, man these are awesome cars however driving these would require the express way, it would be like hitting the expressway and then once you are in the 3rd gear of one of these babies you reallise there is a bend which you need to shift down for, so it would be rather anoying not opening up the gates in one of these exotic cars. My cousin in Germany drives a Vette Z06 450 bhp which wips a 911 however all these cars run good on smooth roads and believe me the expressway is a poor quality road!.

And driving these in the city would over heat these cars in a 5km run.

WE NEED TANKS or OUTBACK vehciles once used by STEVE IRWIN and Gang. (now ofcourse by his wife, as the stingray got the better of him)

Ok had some free time..Heres what I liked and want similar stuff to be present in India..

1.Opel Astra 4 door Hatch:
Looks great..Wonder at what price and which segment can it be placed??
Maybe around Rs.5-7 lakhs in the B+ segment??

2.Ford Focus 2008:
Looks very nice..has many sharp lines..has some lines like on the Mustang..

3.Ford C MAX:
This one looks like a very nice tall body car..
Looks spacious too..Maybe it can replace the current fusion..

4.Ford Think:
This is one is for all the eco-friendly people out there...I loved it...Looks too cute

I would definitely love the see the Ford Focus hit the Indian shores.
I like the styling which is not all too flamboyant.

I would like to see GL 320 CDI and GL 420 CDI SUVs may be with BLUETEC in India. As these cars are from Mercedes-Benz we have to pay lot of import duty.

So why not Mahindra or Tata or some other company get these cars and analyse each part and try to introduce some new made in India premium SUV model which is value for money, high stability at top speeds also and good FE with lot of safety features.

I would like to see V-Diesel engines in SUVs.

Fiat Panda
I agree, the Panda is a very apt car for our market, weighs less then 1000kgs so would be good on the FE front too.

Edit - The Stilo has been discontinued, and has now been replaced by the bravo.
