Volkswagen India is all set to update the Cross Polo by 2015-end, according to ACI. It will get minor styling tweaks, larger wheels and more interior features so as to take on the competition set by i20 Active, the Avventura & the Etios Cross.

VW is now considering an update that would mean giving it larger 16-inch wheels and adding more features to the model to differentiate it from its standard hatchback sibling. The carmaker has plans to also bolster the car to stand up to the feature-rich i20 Active.

The updated Cross Polo may also get styling cues from its international model line that underwent a facelift early 2014, to help differentiate it from the regular Polo.
