Nexa showrooms gears up for the Baleno. Yesterday had been to Nexa, people are coming to see the Baleno on display, but the unit is kept still in stockyard.

Test drive is expected from 29th onwards.

Other parts of India the car seem to be on display? Now at Delhi, Nexa the Autumn Orange Baleno.

Well or ain't on display at OMR Nexa yet. Just crossed the place and they still only have the S Cross on display. I guess they are going to wait till tomorrow to display the car.

Baleno in Blue looks amazingly good. Kudos to Maruti for bringing a great product with no cost cutting measures. Fit and finish looks good.

Those who had the chance to touch and feel - how is the interior quality? the plastics? how is the build quality?
Autocar says its not all that good.
I won't mind the same type of buttons from swift, but the quality? does it feel rich?

Carry over of some switches from its siblings, Paint Quality, touch and feel and finish is top notch. Interiors are way ahead that Maruti products but feel S Cross interiors are a notch above.

Speculated prices of Baleno, they were very close on the S Cross price! This is also close to ACI's prediction of 5.7 to 8.3L -ex Del

The dealership have received its first lot of 60 cars and is waiting for the second lot to arrive as told by one of the source at the dealership on the condition of anonymity. He also mentioned, the lot size depends upon the dealership as it can be 100 cars for some big dealers. According to the source, most of the dealership have already booked their first lot and now readying the cars for delivery.

1.16 lacs premium over CVT engine is not too appreciated, would have been great if maruti had kept it near 7 lacs (they still can). Though expected pricing and at 7.6 lacs exshowroom, if above is indeed true is brilliant.

With the updated speculated pricing out, this means that the Baleno will be priciest of the trio(i20, Jazz and Baleno). Will be interesting to see how it would manage to come up victorious in this segment especially with the i20 being a tough nut to crack (even more so with the rumored pricing of the Baleno).

A zillion of us have time and again reiterated that Maruti would have to undercut the i20 in order to be able to sell decent numbers. Tomorrow promises to be interesting.

Also, the CVT pricing is just plain atrocious(more than the top end!).

Waiting period from dealership in Noida is 6-8 weeks as of now.
If the pricing is spot on- expect long waiting months for Baleno.

The Alpha looks great. If someone is picking any other variant, they will surely need to add the OEM projectors.

Wish the fog lamps were pushed to the edges. Like in the 2014 Fiesta for example. Helps the stance and width of the car to a great extend. The Baleno looks too top heavy with that narrow air dam and fogs which is sitting too close to the center.

Wonder what that square button under the tailgate is for? The one beside electromagnetic button for the tailgate.
