The new Indica looks good. I dont see any reason why the instrument cluster should be positioned in the middle of the dash. Also, with such a large space, the dash should be provided with more contours / cubby holes to hold articles.

I do wish the wheel rims are strengthened. The present ones are prone to bend even if driven moderately rough. Same with the front suspension which loses the alignment if subjected to a harsh riding on bad roads.

Its not so easy to chop off 30mm. Thats 1 foot you are talking about bro. That kind of a length is not so easy to chop off from a design. Definitely not by doing a nip and tuck job on the bumpers and overhangs. If they at all wish to bring it down to 4000 mm they will probably need to redesign the passenger shell as well.

And I am sure they should do it, there is not even a single car which is giving Swift a run for its money and we need that badly now.

Zappo, it is 0.1 feet not 1 foot.

1 mm - 0.0033 feet, 30 mm = 0.1 feet. It CAN be easily chopped off dont you think?

Chopping even 30mm requirs lot of work and is not as simple as it looks, and then they have to reduce it by 50mm to be on the safer side and that sure is not easy.

I think that translates to just over an inch
30mm= 3 cm = 1.181 inches.

I believe thats manageable

Zappo no big deal, I guess you read it 30 cm instead of 30 mm.

Spotted this car today in Coimbatore. Only the badges were removed. It had a Temp. Coimbatore Registration. The driver had got down and went to ATM . Maybe no cash for fuel.

ROTFLMAO.

I got sick and tired of waiting and decided to buy myself a v2 turbo DLX. Got delivery on Tuesday, already clocked 300+ KM @ 15kmpl w/AC. I will post a review after I get the first service done .

Not like that. As i said before I dont intend to sell mine for atleast minimum 50-60kkms. maybe more than that. But for the Tatas, they have a good lineup of stuff to be launched - Indica, perhaps indigo versions with mjd, nano, linea - sounds exciting !!

guys about the indica v3 its got a new name,new IP (instrument panel) new design et al. one of my relative who works in TML (tata motors limited) said foreign people are working towards its quality.he said they check the IP with a slim torch to identify a gap or NC(non-conformance). i was really taken a back hearing this and was equally happy that TML is working towards its quality. well its name would be indica sapphire v3 did'nt get any snaps sorry,and it seems its very robust. people will love it-with the same swifts engine 1.3L mjd. the launch is getting delayed due to quality problems-so it'll roll out on 15th august so hope for the best.
