. Alfas are always loved for their form not function. Hopefully Tata's new (rather large ) baby makes up for in function what it lacks in form.

I heard the launch date is 23rd August. Though it would have been good if it was launched on the 15th,ie, the day after.

went to TD the indigo CS and Palio MjD at B U bhandhari pune.
So i enquired about the Indica with the sales guys there.
They told a month and a half :(

Come on what is taking them so long.
IMHO give a couple of cars to the T-BHP fraternity and
I am sure we all can rip the thing apart and get Tata to
fix all the problems with the new car in less time than what
they are taking at present.

PS: I am getting to see the car daily on the old mumbai pune highway.
The car looks much bigger and lines much cleaner.
Hope they can put the car for sale sooner than later (atleast before Diwali)

I have run across the car as well, it looks like a compact Innova, can't say I am particularly impressed by its looks

Got it from a very reliable source. The V3 will be launched in Mumbai. I'm not very sure about the place, but Saturday afternoon hours. For those who think this is a bluff, you should wait till Saturday evening or Sunday morning before letting your words out

well we should wait to see the quality and engine given by Tata. If they are good, then looks can be secondary. I seriously hope Tata's have taken care of quality this time.

Just spotted a demo vehicle with proper badging in Pune while traveling from Hinjewadi towards Aundh. The car had an 'Indica Vista' badge on the left side. Could not read the variant badge as the car was cutting really fast through traffic and could not keep up. It was a grey shade (like the one in current Indica) and that trademark 'DEMO VEHICLE' sticker on the side like the one on the Safari TD vehicles.

Right. I just confirmed it with B.U Bhandari, Pune.

Launch on Saturday, 23rd.

They said that the demo vehicle has arrived & will be available from Monday.

Guys Guys!

Just wondering if the news of Mumbai launch is true - then i guess having all the hoardings saying -'he is from gujrat / chennai / delhi but he is in mumbai' maybe driving home the message of the launch this weekend

I could be wrong!!
