Spotted the upcoming Mahindra E2O facelift near Reva facility at Bommasandra, Bangalore. Could manage to capture the rear portion only but saw the car overall and can confirm its the E2O.

I spotted a small car in full camouflage this evening in front of Forum Mall, Koramangala, Bangalore.
Seeing the size, I guessed it to be an Ignis.

I really really hope that the bulge at the back is not a spare tyre mounted on the tail-gate and that this is not the 'world's most affordable electric SUV' Mahindra is talking about!!

I wonder if it has got spare tyre mounted on the tail-gate. The plastic covering at the back looks like it is hiding an Ecosport style spare wheel. Or it could just be loosely fitted plastic cover!

Yikes... I hope not too. That would really be a joke, as adding 8 mm of GC and a spare tyre at the back does not an SUV make.

Also, the e2o had one of the coolest, most unique spare tyre placements:

The tricky question here is, is this an e2o facelift, or is it the "4-door e2o", as allegedly spotted here.

As long as neither of these become an electric SUV, I'm okay with it!

Spotted testing in Pune by Tech 'N Wheelz spies.

It gives us a good look at the front of the car, complete with the trademark Mahindra grille and the wraparound headlamps.

Mahindra Electric has announced that their next electric car will be named as the e2oPlus. The name e2o is basically a fusion which means from energy to oxygen. Like most electric cars, this car is expected to have benefits like zero emissions, low running costs and home charging.

A teaser image was also released which shows the rear of the e2oPlus. The new tail lamp design indicates that the new car is likely to get significant design changes compared to the e2o. Apart from the styling changes, the company claims that the e2oPlus will also have an increased range and fast charging capability.

The current line-up of Mahindra Electric includes the e2o, eVerito, and the recently launched eSupro. Specifications related to the car haven't been revealed yet, but going from the recent spy shots and the teaser image this is most likely the 4-door version of the e2o.

Played in photoshop, adjusting the levels. Too bad, manhindra's marketing department did not paint the areas in black, but just reduced the brightness contrast. May be there were in hurry?
