The looks, by itself can drive the customer away. It also comes with a name which is equally potent.
The day, the Doblo is launched in India, and sells more than 1000 units a month, Loki and his tessaract would have won over us all.

Spotted the same duo today en-route home. Same two cars standing by a tea stall, sipping tea.

After seeing the car and if this is launched against the Ertiga and the other competitors, Maruti will have further increased the market share in the UV segment.

Also seems to be they are on a India tour - Bangalore then Mumbai then Pune then Hyderabad.

One of the two cars was Petrol and the other was Multijet.

Spotted the Doblo near Electronic City in Bangalore recently. Looks good enough to take on the Lodgy.

Qubo is 3.96 meters long, while Doblo is 4.253 meters (both are 7 seaters).
I think Qubo has potential in India - legroom and headroom look decent even in the third row, and the only direct competitor is the Datsun Go+

Qubo and Doblo are largely seen in commercial use in their home market (Italy). They're not even seen as taxis. Once in a while I see a Scudo as a taxi, or the ugly Multipla in few large families for personal use. Doblo or Qubo are never seen with either of these audience.

Given this, I am anyone in FCA in their sane mind would even think of introducing these in India as a passenger vehicle. Given the coverage of the service network, it won't even do well as a commercial vehicle.

It is likely tested in hot-humid conditions only for export, not for local sale.
