Couple of weeks back, was looking at a very old Overdrive (Atleast 6 years old) and there was talk of Maruthi coming up with a new look Alto and replacement model for Zen (Yes!!)

And now Maruthi have announced a replacement for Zen after 6 long years and one cosmetic upgrade.

So guys, being too much enthusiasm is....well can lead to disappointment.

regards

Is that a car for Bankers? Techies? Businessmen? Or is it straight out of a Calvin and Hobbes design by Calvin?

Amazingly ugly to say the least! I dont know if I'd buy it!

But congrats! They've managed to make the Old Baleno better looking!

If you compare it with the current baleno look, this one is much better. People opt for Baleno because it is really good car in terms of performance with mileage. If MUL keep price in the range of 6 lakh, it will definitly compete Fiesta and Aveo.

Dont know about others but a Old Look black Baleno with 16 Inch Chrome Rims and tyres Looks HOTT,
This new car gets into the usual Sedan category, Boring Family Car,
Don't know why all car makers are making Indian cars look like Inverted Boats,
Honda City ZX, Chevy Aveo and now the baleno

Ah, finally its here.

Styling is a little bit of a hotchpoch. Front end from the SX4 is agressive and the rear is bland. So, depending on their taste people are going to like one or the other.

Since its based on teh Swift platform, should be easy and quick to launch and also cost effective, not to mention a good handler.

The engine I am sure will be a massaged version of the g16 similar to the strategy they used on the Swift.

Urghh..this one looks..well, ugly. And it looks smaller in dimensions too. It looks as if (sizewise) it would be a good replacement for the Esteem, and not the Baleno.

overall, i think it's not as beauti as other new Suzukis
(Swift,Grand vitara,Sx4 hatch)
actualy i'm little dissappoint of it design.
but it will be the best selling
sedan in India ( in group of 5 lakh up price range)

you can bet with me on that.

why, because it's a Maruti.
it always has lower price.

No one can compet Maruti in economy of scale.

yes, you have tata but tata doesn't have c-segment.
