Don't get fooled by the looks ..... ! When you ride on Indian roads, all of
them will behave like true blue boats, right side up, swaying this way and
that, --- like my Baleno does, --- on Bangalore roads !

If by C-segment you mean entry level three box car then, Tata Indigo/Marina sells more than almost any other car in C-Segment. The only car which sells more than tata in that segment is NHC.

I meant 5 lakh+ price,

anyways, i always confuse with indian's segmentation.
it's very differrent from international segmentation.

I am a bit suspicious about the picture. I have seen it on the print edition and it appears blurred. They just have one picture and that of very poor resolution..

I really wonder where Autocar got the picture from. Cant be a spy pic of a test car, because the car isnt masked at all.

Isn't it strange to Maruti provide a car to be Scoop photographed with Suzuki badging prominently showing. If you look closely the bonnet/bumper looks concealed by something, giving the gaping panel gap.

Now Fiat/Tata had also made clear their intentions of a proper C segment car and Fiat Sedici in sedan form is the most near choice. Could this be a Fiat Sedici wearing Suzuki badge?

well the same thing was shown in wheelspin with credits given to autocar

Its nothing but a FWD Sedci sedan. I think ACI made their own conclusions (as they always do) about this being a Baleno replacement. Dont think Maruti provided anything.

A bit Fiesty at the back, and that oh-so-ugly front quarter glass. But, new wine preferred anyway to old whine in older bottle :D

Hmmm.. so they "borrowed" the pic from a website with giving any credit !! Looks like Autocar guys are googling a lot these days..

Aakhir dil hai hindustani. :D Its not the first time I am seeing this kind of blunder. It usually happens with Indian mags. You can take pics/data from anywhere on net but you should give some courtesy note at least!

that hapen in every 3rd world country.
------
Thailand's car magazine used to copy my
writing in the internet without giving my credit

what a shame.

i'm feel very sad when i saw that mag.

it looks good, except for the gap on the bonet.

but on the whole a very good moredn and sporty looking car..........sure shot hit

The current Baleno is so much better than this in terms of looks. This is just insane!!!

It looks ok to me. If we can accept the shapes of old santro, NHC and Tata Indigo, this looks way better than all of them.
