Nice shade, going well with Nexon design, white ceramic waistline etc. To me this shade is actually looking much better than the blue we have been seeing all through. They should introduce this along with the launch.

Petrol Nexon is priced from 5.85 Lacs for XE variant and that is much lower than what I had anticipated at 5.99Lacs. Well Done!!
Top end XZ+ is priced at 8.45 Lacs and I guess the dual tone is at 8.6 Lacs.

Looks like the webcast was interrupted right after they announced the price. But from the glimpse I had, it starts at 5.85L and goes upto 8.59L. Just not sure of the top variant name.

TATA MOTORS goes confident with the NEXON pricing . Puts it on par with the established players.

With prices starting at Rs 5.85 lakh and going up to Rs 9.45 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Nexon seems to be on par with its rivals, the Maruti Vitara Brezza (Rs 7.24 - 9.91 lakh) and the Ford EcoSport (Rs 7.10 - 10.71 lakh) - ACI

AMT launch a few months away. No plans for 4WD/AWD. Expectation is an 80:20 split in favour of the diesel.

You are right. That top end is XZ+ with Dual tone roof. The Diesel variant costs 9.449L Ex showroom, Dehli.

I guess pricing is on expected lines. Expect some disruption from premium hatches to compact SUVs and to some extent even Duster/Creta territory.

Good pricing from TATA for the entry level variants. However, the variants that really matter (XZ and XZ+) seem to be priced optimistically. Fate would be known once the Ecosport facelift prices are revealed.

Also, really don't agree with this strategy of keeping the good design bits for only the top end variants. Should have followed a strategy similar to the BRV / WRV here. Most of the cars out on the roads will not look the part, with this variant lineup.

Waiting for the fans who said in multiple posts that it was TATA bashing when I predicted the entry price to be lower than 5.99L/- a couple of months back.
