I guess one would have to learn to live with it, as long as they are good, in doing their job. All the spyshots/pics that I have seen, has the wiper in that manner.

What I meant by 'mechanically' is not the metal bits but the performance aspect of both cars. After correcting for weight of the two cars and excluding the general difference of driving dynamics between similarly rated petrol and diesel engines, there isn't a substantial difference. I can say that having driven both cars extensively and not just test drives. Also seeing it in the new light of the numbers given for Nexon, DDiS200 at that price point feels tad disappointing. No arguments about 1.6 though.

Again, going by whatever information we have about Nexon till now (engine specs, interiors), it has certainly put a question mark over the premiumness of Scross 1.3 and doubts in the mind of potential buyers. Except for the extra real estate and all things Maruti, what does it have over and above Tata Nexon? We are in the same quandary, aren't we? Let's see who bites the bullet first.

If the media drive is till 27th, I don't think we'll get to read first drive reports from anyone before that. Only specifications might trickle till then. Correct me if I'm wrong.

From EVO India's tweet, looks like The Drive is scheduled for tomorrow. Today might be just briefing, presentations and one display car.

The Nexon looks really sexy in flesh, Tata seems to have done a good job in making it desirable with the roof rails, shark fin antenna and the tail lights. The white strip should be ceramic (in the top trim??) as claimed by Tata during the Auto Expo.

Done with my booking today morning, yes unofficial.

Years of wait now trickled down into days. Hoping Tata wont delay the launch further than August end as I have planned a two week vacation in September.

Diesel Top End. With the pictures that are now coming out, it'll be XZ+.

Only grouse is the lack of Cruise Control even in the top end. Why TATA why?

1. Looks like a mini-Hexa. Probably, its different in flesh.
2. The front facia is like "on your face" look. Is it because of the colour or the camera angle or thats how the car is?

Sir, Does it mean that the dashboard mounted touch screen will be available only on XZ & XZ+ variants ? Personally I hate the '+' nomenclature on the variants, irrespective of the manufacturer. No offense please.

I hope that it gets full safety kit (ABS/ EBD/ TC/ airbags) in low and mid variants - at least as an option pack.

In terms of specifications, it is already mouth watering. Now fingers crossed on the pricing. This is going to disrupt the market for sure. Good to see Tata increasingly moving towards 'value for money' from a 'chepa to buy & run' positioning.

Whether there is any representation from teamBHP for this media drive. Eagerly looking for the the first drive reports. Tata dealership at Calicut is not accepting any booking now.

I'm not liking the blue. Cant help but feel it's overdone Bolt. Too many elements trying to catch attention - The pop colour, Chrome, white ceramic inserts! The Geneva edition Red looked much better.

The interior is stunning in comparison and all the materials looks much better as compared to the spy pictures.

Unless there are six airbags, or something other highlight feature like the JBL audio - even I'm not sure why the ZX+ nomenclature is required.
