So, what do the Octavia prices reflect ? New Octavia prices revealed before launch ? Or revised prices for non-existent older Octavia model ? I also saw them on Skoda website.

Possible reasons for increase can be due to

1 Increase in Road Tax in Maharashtra
2 Increase in Tax on Insurance as well extended warranty.

Is it for SHVS? I guess, SHVS might be enjoying some rebate pre GST which is no longer valid.

These are the post-GST revised prices of the existing Octavia. Some stocks are still left with dealers and at the factory.

The new Octavia (facelift) is scheduled to be launched on 13th July. Prices for the facelift should be revealed by then only.

@LionX; I guess this will prove to be more bark than bite. Getting everyone compliant is fine, but jailing looks too much.

You should mention that you are going to take insurance from outside. Not sure why the extended warranty prices have risen.

Volvo has dropped 9L on the inscription model of the XC90 and has quietly launched T8 Excellence 7 seater at 1.02Cr Ex showroom Bangalore. I am inclined towards it 😃.

Pre GST price of XC90 D5 Inscription was 94.90L and post GST it is 85.90L. Attaching post GST prices of XC90 only.

Service tax/VAT was being applied on the extended warranty before GST and I believe it used be around 18%. The GST rate is 28% and hence the increase in price for the extended warranty. Insurance and accessories costs have also give up for the same reason.

In short, the overall cost of ownership of a car has gone up due to GST.

Renault have announced GST prices for their cars. Duster's price is available in the below link.

RVS CVT under 10L in some states in South. Looking a great deal in Bangalore IMHO.
