Probably means the embargo will get over by 12pm. So we can expect all the review channels to jump in at the same time.

Hope atleast a few of them were able to cover the new petrol engine.

All the major and minor Youtube channels have completed their reviews some time back, and all of them are going to upload the videos at 12 noon. These uploads have been announced since couple of days back. Come another half hour, we can expect to see all reviews going up together on Youtube. Interestingly, there is one channel which has probably disregarded the embargo and already uploaded its review late last night Saw the review this morning!

Looks great in exterior. Loaded with features(kudos for safety factor). Good enough diesel engine. Could have been replacement for our Honda City this festive season. But, 2 things are a deal breaker for me. Small boot and no automatic. Can't believe our home grown manufacturers are not able to see the large number of customers who now need Automatics only. First Harrier and now this. Hopefully within a year both may get it.

I guess that was fly wheels. I saw it this morning. Just a bird's eye view I would say, only for Diesel engine. The presenter mentioned that the media drive has only diesel cars for review - this would be a big disappointment.

That's right. Media drives only got the diesel engines now, and from what I understand, petrol engines will be provided for reviews only next month! Thats a big miss and in my view, really too late, since a lot of Indians have finally warmed up to the idea of petrol engines on SUVs, especially compact SUVs. Now would have been the time to shine the spotlight on what could, by the published specs, be a very competent petrol engine in the XUV 300.

Any indications or information on when the test drive vehicles will be reaching showrooms? Will that be delayed till the price announcement on Feb 14th, or expected to come in earlier?

All the trappings of a big hit for Mahindra! Wow! Looks good, powerful engine, long feature and safety list, well appointed interiors and also the price should be competitive. The boots a little low on volume and that Stop and Start system needs some fine tuning. Commendable effort from Mahindra.

Looks like a good package! I get a feeling that Mahindra have re-worked the Tivoli pretty well and came up with a well-finished product. That dashboard is already showing a bit of age though.

And I really liked one segment-first - a proper 3-point seatbelt and headrest for the rear middle passenger!

Mahindra and Tata tough fight they're going on. Kudos to team India, let the battle royale begin. At least let the koreans and Japanese learn from these guys!!!

Very neat package, many segment firsts and yes Mahindra has hit the right note. First impression of this baby SUV is very good and it already started tickling my senses for an upgrade. Kudos to Mahindra and Tata for setting new standards and benchmarks and raising questions to the other OEM's.
Eagerly waiting for our T-BHP detailed review.

Will I go and book this car, Heart says yes, do it immediately and mind says go read GTO's fine thread on Keeping your 5 Year Old car (ARTICLE: YOUR 5 year old car : Keep, Upgrade or Swap?).

It will be interesting to see how these numbers ( Jan-19 ) get realigned after XUV300's launch, provided it is competitively priced.

One thing for sure- TUV will face the brunt!
