Projector headlamps are present in both the ZDI and ZDI+ vairants.

I feel the main features you would miss in VDI(O) over ZDI would be the Alloy wheels and the projector headlamps and to an extent the reverse parking camera. All the other nifty interior features can be done without as well. But for 75k more, I sure feel you do get good value if you care for all those features in the ZDI.

There is another big feature which you forgot taking into the picture, the keyless entry and the start stop system. I suppose that's the one demanding more premium rather than the touch screen infotainment system! The zdi doe get the led guide and the projector headlamps.

The Hyundai's 1.4 CRDi makes 90 PS (88BHP) and not 82 BHP as quoted by you

Thanks for the correction. By mistake I had quoted the petrol's power figure. It has to be 89 @ 4000 RPM

Brezza definitely ticks much more boxes than Dzire does. I also think, in not so distant future Brezza will overtake Dzire. May be in some years from now, SUV like vehicles will rule the roads, at least they will be in much more numbers than the compact sedans.

Creta already has a huge waiting list of people who are happy with the current high price. Why would Hyundai want to cut the price?

In fact, MS would be see some bookings moving some S-cross to Brezza.

Do you think people were so happy to pay that robbery-like price for creta? People went for the 'least compromising' vehicle of that time. Scross was lagging in looks department, while duster lacking service support.

Now with brezza, maruti has addressed the main disability. There will definitely be cancellations for creta after the brezza launch and ecosport pricecut. And yes, the already-minimal numbers of scross will also come down.

Happy that common sense prevails for manufacturers very soon after they feel the heat. First for maruti with scross, and now for ford with ecosport.

Hyundai should start calculating their supreme profits on cretas sold and now reduce price by 2 lacs. High probability that those 80k bookings end up being just another number.

Re: The Maruti Vitara Brezza @ Auto Expo 2016

Went to Vipual Motors in Sec 63 Noida. There was no display vehicle forget the TD and the staff too was quite naive on the Breeza. The waiting period for the Breeza was told to be 6-8 weeks from current date as of now. When asked for the choice of color the SE said that he personally disliked the fiery yellow(my initial choice) and said Red looks the best on the car.

Also I guess with Red in ZDi turing it into dual tone like the official car would be a much simpler job compared to the others with the white roofs. Will be going with the booking amount in next 2 days.

The Brezza effect, Ecosport has dropped prices by INR 50-60,000 (as expected)

Well, they have dropped it by 53k (for base petrol) to 1.12 lakhs (for all diesel variants! Competition is bliss and good for the consumers.

There is a separate thread on this - http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/indian...-12-lakhs.html
