As per reports, the Ignis will be sold via Nexa. That is a confusing positioning considering it is expected to sit below the Brezza.

Good to see that the Baleno RS is coming. Finally an RS moniker that actually means something with respect to power and performance.

Looks like Ignis will also go Nexa way. I feel Maruti has got its plan jumbled with Ciaz and Brezza landing at regular dealership and Baleno at Nexa. S-Cross was always for Nexa I guess.

Ignis is definitely a looker, I would say. Old school looks garnished with some modern elements.

The wheel arches is done tastefully, though I would doubt if we get that wheel size upon launch in India.

I would hold my opinion on the rear design till I see it from more angles, but my guess is that rear view will be pretty decent.

Suzuki has confirmed that Ignis will go through the Nexa route, once it is launched around the festive season.

Even I believe that the Ciaz and Brezza should have been made available at Nexa dealerships, while Ignis would be apt for the regular Maruti dealerships.

It will come loaded with features and priced accordingly.

This newly developed direct-injection turbo diesel engine delivers 110bhp of power against 170Nm of torque. It is claimed to offer high performance and exciting drive.

Unlike the regular model, the Baleno RS features more edgy and sporty styling. Along with with a sporty pair of alloy wheels, this new Baleno model might get some additional safety features such as tyre pressure monitoring system, side airbags, radar-based brake support, all-four disc brakes, etc. Though, the interior design will remain unchanged. While the hatchback’s regular model carries a kerb weight of 865kgs, the Maruti Baleno RS will weigh around 950kgs. This performance edition could also come with a new black exterior paint option.

C'mon Maruti - stop messing up your game. NEXA is nonsense. Just sell all cars together under a single roof. You have forgotten what is premium and what's not. It's getting more and more a desperate attempt to try and resurrect a stupid strategy. Better to accept a mistake early and move on rather than these flawed attempts.

How on earth can Ignis be more premium than Brezza !!!!!
