Looks like BMW is just about to launch a couple of models right now at the expo. The pricing is already up on their website apparently.

All new X1 -

Sdrive 20d Expedition - 29,90,000
Sdrive 20d Xline - 33,90,000
Xdrive 20d Xline - 35,90,000
Xdrive 20d M sport - 39,90,000

All new 7 series -

730ld Design Pure Excellence - 1,11,00,000
730ld M sport - 1,19,00,000
730ld Design Pure Excellence (CBU) - 1,40,00,000
750li Design Pure Excellence (CBU) - 1,50,00,000
750li M Sport (CBU) - 1,55,00,000

X5 -

So apart from the 3 series a few days ago, the new X1 seems to have had its prices revealed.The pricing seems spot on IMO. Some notes on the X1 -

-All versions have LED headlights, good move by BMW
-Nice to see both front wheel drive and all wheel drive
-Sensatec on all but M sport
-All cars besides base model are running 18" wheels
-Smaller idrive screen on all variants besides M sport
-M sport gets the full shebang including M sport suspension and head up display

Also revealed are the 7 series pricing. The CKDs seem to be priced well, hopefully they are fully loaded too.

Lastly BMW seems to have officially launched the X5 M sport trim. Few features added to the X5 M sport -

-M sport body kit with 19" wheels including M suspension
-Head up display
-Comfort seats in the front

Wonder how they have spec'd the new 7, the CKD is sure to miss SkyLounge and some other cool knick knacks from the display car at the 7 sneak-peek event.

Even the 1-series is updated. The website now shows the facelifted model with just one variant - 118d sportsline.

That facelift one had a soft launch a couple of months ago. I don't know why they aren't doing a media launch for it.

Indeed! The new one actually looks much better than the pre-facelift model and could have got a better run with some aggressive marketing. They seems to have lost the mojo of selling.

Wasn't X1 priced around lower earlier? The range starts from 29.90L after BMW has saved cost by developing it a FWD car. Something isn't right in this!

This new X1 looks stunning. They launched it softly? thats surprising. The pricing has created competition in their own line-up itself. I think it will be a hit in india- a country obsessed with SUVish higher ground clearance & driving position with better visibility.

The pricing looks fantastic for the X1, but given the SUV craze in our nation, they might be another nail in the coffin for the 3 series LCI. ~6 Lakhs cheaper on road(M-sport variant) for selective all wheel drive vs permanent rear wheel drive will convince most buyers other than the absolute die hard enthusiasts.
