Ford @ Auto Expo 2016

Ford was heard talking of a Diesel Automatic, which they said could be a game changer for them. "Game-changer" means thats its going to be an affordable/budget vehicle, which vehicle were they talking about & when is it launching ?

Is any date doing the rounds for customization options to be available in the market? And what are the customizations possible, any exhaustive list would be really helpful. Thanks.

I'm actually surprised that Ford has no plans for a proper D segment sedan in India. They were one of the first ones to enter that segment with the Mondeo and although the market then wasn't as matured as now, they need to seriously look at a sedan in the 15-20 lakh segment. Why not the Ford Focus? They could have at least displayed it in the expo and just gauged the reaction. The D segment today is all about the safe and boring Elantra and Corolla or the super built but unpredictable Jetta and Octavia. Ford can really ensure a middle ground amongst these by offering the Ford Fusion!

Ford has done a great job with the endeavour, but they are just priced too high with all the taxes that add up. Sad.
