Team-BHP Support ![]() ![]() | ![]() Kwid 1.0L & AMT The Kwid has been a game-changing product for Renault and the 1.0L engine will only widen its appeal: ![]() Obviously, this sticker won't be there on customer cars. The Kwid's 0.8L engine is too ordinary (like the Alto & Eon 0.8L). We hope that, like the Alto & Eon 1.0L, the bigger petrol changes the character of the Kwid. Renault says that the DOHC, 4 valves / cylinder petrol will offer good driveability: ![]() ![]() Notice the missing pedal! ![]() Check out the big cubby hole where the MT's gear lever lies: ![]() Super simple AMT shifter knob: ![]() Zooming in: ![]() Badging on the tail-gate: ![]() Last edited by GTO : 4th February 2016 at 22:46. |

Team-BHP Support ![]() ![]() | ![]() Kwid Racer Concept One of the best parts about the Auto Expo is seeing manufacturers having fun with modifications. The Kwid Racer is just that, having been designed at Renault’s studios in Mumbai and Chennai: ![]() This metallic blue looks sweet! Headlamps get C-shaped LEDs. Silver strip across the front is unique, yet stylish. Black bumper lip at the bottom: ![]() ![]() Sick 18" rims with low-pro tyres. Black wheel arches though look out of place. Car would've looked awesome without them: ![]() Big wing at the top and big diffuser at the bottom: ![]() Center mounted exhaust? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Flat-bottom steering with loads of Alcantara & aluminium around: ![]() Racing seats with a 4-point harness: ![]() Roll cage: ![]() So cool! Also, I see they have all-round disc brakes ![]() Although I know these mods are just for display, it would be great if they offer this as customization if the buyer is ready to empty his pockets | |

| ![]() The Kwid Racer looks absolutely bonkers. So much so that it is receiving international press coverage from reputed publications like Top Gear and EVO! http://www.topgear.com/car-news/conc...er-concept-car http://www.evo.co.uk/news/17327/rena...erging-markets |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() Yet another awesome coverage of a buzzing automaker of these times. Surely its exciting times ahead with some relevant and interesting products from Renault like the 1.0l Kwid and facelift Duster. Was waiting to hear more about the later. The concepts for once are very interesting as well and with some practical ones on the Kwid range. Interesting space here. |

| ![]() Kudos to all the mods for making the Auto Expo "virtually" a live event for us. I am in the market for a small automatic/AMT car and got really excited when I saw Kwid AMT. Did Renault give any indication when are they going to launch this car? |
