BANNED | ![]() I like this. It looks wicked. Jeep-ish in a sense! I think it would do well with the addition of the following; 1. AWD, ESP, ASR, Hill Hold, Traction Control, 6 Airbags at least, if not 8. Fatter Tyres and bigger wheels than the present ones, Front Passenger Seat Height Adjusters. Lumbar Support for both front seats. Choice of Dark leather upholstery. And that delicious 1.6 litre engine, sightly re tuned to give more revs at the right time, while climbing hills etc. And an AT option! Last edited by shankar.balan : 25th April 2016 at 19:24. |

| ![]() If this is what it looks like in the new version, I'd rather take the current S-Cross any day. The Vertical slatted Grille looks odd and a bit BMWish and not in a good way.. I'm planning to buy one sometime next year, I sure hope we get the current version then or that this is not the real face lift. |

| ![]() ^. No God No. The current S Cross' calm and serene face was growing on to me and i was planning to save enough to buy one 2-3 years down the line. But if this is the face that it is going to have at that time. I am not going to this side at all. |

| ![]() No no God no!! The worst design a every on a car. Front grille is a mix of BMW and Datsun Go. Can someone send that designer on a holiday?! I hate it. The current one looks good and pleasing to eye. Many people hate the bland design. This facelift will ruin it further without any doubt. I can see Creta selling even more and sales figures of S-Cross dropping further after this facelift is launched in India. :( |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() This car looks hideous. The grill looks like another Chinese rip-off adaptation. They could have just introduced a wire mesh pattern in the current grill design and things would have been much better. Somehow, the frond-end now looks like a car modified badly, to look like a BMW X1 or an old Volvo XC90. Especially, the bulging headlights and the tapering bonnet near the light are similar to the old Volvo design. |

| ![]() I'm so ROFL looking at this front face of the car. It seems to be grinning as it it knows it looks ridiculous! Though i think it gives the car a Scorpio'ish look over anything else, the chrome grill is so horribly misplaced on its otherwise sedate lazy lines. BTW, will this come to India? Or this is already off the production lines in India? |

| ![]() Maruti is digging the grave for the s-cross if this is what they are actually planning to ship across under the garb of a facelift. Absolutely hideous. I would rather get a pre worshiped current gen S-Cross than go for this one Bang on. I too got the exactly same feel when I saw the pics |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() The height - both overall and the Ground Clearance as well looks to be higher, to give it a more SUV look than a cross over. Regarding the front, I will reserve my views till i see it in flesh. There's nothing a spray of plastidip cant fix! ![]() |

BHPian ![]() | ![]() To be honest, I am not at all impressed with that front grill. It gives me an impression of some 90's design and it's nowhere close to BMW X1. Let's hope what we see on road gives a better impression than in pictures. I was planning of getting a second hand scross in future but let's hope this facelift does not spoil the party. |

Alloy wheel designs be damned, most of their cars sold in India would not pass muster in the same trim overseas. Like a hatchback without a rear wiper and defogger. No ABS, Airbags, and a weak structure for the passenger cabin. Maruti Suzuki really needs to get its act together. They do not seem to realize that there's a whole segment of the Indian motoring population that seems to have moved on to safer cars, and MSIL does not have any offering in that space. Having said that, I like the facelift design. I do look forward to seeing the new refreshed S Cross in India. It seems to be a very competent vehicle. Now if only I could get some assurance on its crash worthiness, I would immediately buy this vehicle with the 1.6 DDIS engine. | |

BHPian ![]() | ![]() Top Gun (1986) Stinger (to Maverick): Maverick, you just did an incredibly brave thing. What you should have done was land your plane! You don't own that plane, the taxpayers do! Son, your ego is writing checks your body can't cash. You've been busted, you've lost your qualifications as section leader three times, put in hack twice by me, with a history of high speed passes over five air control towers—and one admiral's daughter! In a dark cell, somewhere in SMC Hamamatsu HQ (2017) O.Suzuki (to Chief Engineer Takehito Arai): Arai-san, you just did an incredibly brave thing. What you should have done was make it look better! You don't pay for all that chrome, I do! Son, your designers are drawing grills our cars can't carry off. You priced the car wrong, wasted money on useless Nexa showrooms, did not localize the 1.6 engine, and now killed that car with this disgusting grill! Last edited by Viju : 1st July 2016 at 11:37. |
