The reason the grill is being the focus of discussion is because Maruti had a second shot at it and partially messed up again. Bonnet lines, chiseled bumper & that drool worthy headlight look nice, the grill spoils it all.

| ![]() Minus the grill, this is a good shot at reducing the droopiness of the car and making it look more crossover as compared to a hatch currently (this is my opinion and will not change!). For the grill, as fellow members have said, there's nothing that some wraps can't solve. Also, love the blue color displayed and hope it comes to India as well as along with an AT on the 1.6. If yes and priced at approx 100-125k higher than current prices, I would seriously consider this car. Last edited by avdhesh15 : 10th July 2016 at 14:12. |

| ![]() I am ready to forgive this garish chrome grill on the front as long as Maruti Suzuki can plonk a DDIS 200 mill with SHVS and TCSS. Any idea when this"facelift" will arrive at our shores? |

| ![]() Old one's front end looks so good and decent with no harm to the lookers eyes. I love the old model more than the new one. If they launch this in India, it becomes an even stronger case for me to get XUV5OO over the S-Cross DDiS320 Alpha. The designer and approver of this design needs to be fired IMHO. | ![]() Better to give S-Cross relief from those heavy braces and artificial teeth whitening. Rest modifications looks good. Tried controlling its shine. ![]() ![]() |

For folks who haven't checked out Mi10's ownership thread, please take a look at the teaser picture posted by josepeter. You would fall in love with the current version immediately. ![]() http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/test-d...mapped-16.html Last edited by Keynote : 14th July 2016 at 15:33.

| ![]() Even though its not the prettiest car out there, there is something about the S-Cross that make me turn my head every time I see it. It looks so calm and serene even when its being driven hard. We all agree it was never a looker but was attractive due to its sheer presence and stance. Even though I did not like the new rendering of the grill, I doubt if it will make a lot of difference to its looks or desirability. People will still buy it for its other virtues. Distinguished - BHPian ![]() ![]() | ![]() I like the new look. It now has a presence that was missing earlier. Hope they bring this look to India soon. But I am not looking for a vehicle in this class right now. Some competition to Creta would be good. |

| ![]() I know it to each of his own but this is just my point. No offence to anyone and especially no offence to Mr. Josepeter. You can call me old fashioned or anything but that S-Cross in that avatar isn't to my liking either hence I didn't reply initially but somehow got the courage now. ![]() OEM design was thoughtfully put before the car was launched except the alloys. Rest of S-Cross is an excellent execution. Grille isn't too my liking as it feels like 'something is missing there' and it is too much of black on the car. Can't really understand why blacken the headlights?! Won't it reduce the light transmission and also heat up the unit more? Last edited by a4anurag : 14th July 2016 at 23:57. |

| ![]() Since it is an HID unit, it has its own barrel shaped housing. The chrome outside the barrel is just bling and has nothing to do with reflecting light. Black makes the barrel & other LED/chrome styling elements stand out. Hence. |

| ![]() I recently test drove a 1.6 s-cross for a colleague and it was a huge disappointment! No offence to any of the owners and fans, but it drives nothing like a 15 lakh car! I'm sure when it was priced higher before the price correction ( to the tune of 17 lakhs) it just had no value for money! The car's engine is great, but nothing earth shattering. And the ride is no where near that of the duster. Interiors look too basic for this cost. The s-cross is better choice if you buy the entry level variants which are decently equipped with airbags and ABS etc. I think the entry level variant costs about 10.5 L OTR Bangalore and it makes a decent buy. But the 1.6 is just way off the mark in terms of pricing. It just didn't feel special at all.. I'm sorry for this rant, but most reviews had the s-cross as the best ever to come out of Maruti and I just failed to see the merit. One is better off buying a duster if ride and GC are the criteria else look at a vento or rapid if it's quality and high speed stability. |
