With Hyundai too expected to have some form of mild hybrid feature in upcoming Creta refresh, I expect some sort of strong lobbying to ensure these benefits remain

Maruti, Hyundai, Mahindra and Toyota together means rest of the car sales are negligible

Not sure if mild hybrids like SHVS are covered in this scheme. Quoting from the article:

Just to make sure car makers dont mis-use the hybrid term, there should be regulations on what a electric only mode can achieve or how much in percentage terms it could save fuel. There needs to be baseline figure for a policy.

There was an article on fame in April this year, where the government revised rules on what qualifies for FAME. As per which mild hybrids like the svhs from maruti , micro hybrids from mahindra did not qualify for the fame scheme. Those rules may still be in place even if the scheme may have been extended.

I am not sure why these new launches are without the Automatic Transmissions. Renault Captur and now this.

May be this is their interpretation of "Dual tone" Alloys.

After, Dual Tone exteriors and interiors, we now have Dual Tone Alloys!

The spy shots had revealed a different alloy design which was gun metal but with the same pattern. So are we getting a different design for Zeta and Alpha?

Look closely, the facelift has a 5*2 spoke design while the pre-facelift had a 5*3 spoke petal design. So it is indeed a different design.

A white color new s-cross with blackened front grill, would look stunning. Eager to see one on the road.

Noticed the slightly inclined mild hybrid sticker on the hood, at first it felt as if it is going to fall off. Should have left it horizontally in line with the s-cross label.
