Wow! The silver colour does look real good. Anyone have it in brown yet?

While I am not on the market right now, I would be sometime next year. Hopefully they will launch the 1.5 petrol by that time.

Initial response has been very good. I have heard that there is 6-8 weeks waiting period for few colours in Zeta variant. Maruti had internal target of 5000 cars per month in 2015. But they could achieve only half of it. Let's see how the facelift S-Cross performs

This is probably one for the classifieds section but given the high enthusiasm for the 1.6 version of S-cross posting the same here:
I was in my native place Dakshina Kannada over the weekend and my relative was telling that there is a 35,000 km run S-cross 1.6 2015 model for sale with a quote of INR 8.5 lakh. The owner wants to sell because he does not want any turbo lag in the curvy DK roads and is well maintained

On another topic of the S-cross, Fiat will be localizing 1.6 Multijet production for the Renegade in India. It will most likely be Multijet-II which has lower turbo lag and could make its way back into the S-cross!

Hi guys, Is it possible to retrofit the Alpha variant LED projectors onto the Zeta variant? Will the Zeta variant with add-ons like the Auto-dimming IRVM and the LED Projector headlights be better VFM than buying the Alpha variant outright?

According to Carwale, there is an on-road price difference of around 1.75 lakhs between the two. (On-road Thiruvananthapuram)

The projectors on the old ? scross is not good at all, not sure how much better the new ones are. Zeta you can probably add a relay and increase the wattage of the bulbs, that will be more effective. With respect to the auto dimming IRVM, I think that should be possible, it is an accessory I suppose

Car looks smashing in the Silver grey colour. Wonder why MS cannot introduce their 1.5 liter diesel. If company like Tata can work on a new engine, is it too difficult for Suzuki to develop one for itself?

At 14 lakhs on road with a 1.3 liter engine the car is too expensive. I purchased my Alpha 1.3 for 12.5 Lakhs on road about a year ago.

At this price level a Creta with 1.6 liter engine makes more sense.

Maruti is also losing out on the petrol customers.

I would be first in the line, to pick this up, if it launched with a 1.5 liter engine, at the same price point as the 1.3.

But, sadly, this event is at least a couple of years away.

It is a very attractive shade & reminds me of our Tata Sierra which their brochure described as "Anthracite grey". This was back in the mid-nineties & if I find a photograph I shall post it.

Brezza: 13K
Ertiga: 6.5K
Gypsy: 500
S-Cross: 3.4K

They really need a Brezza petrol and S-cross petrol.

Looks like 80-85 bhp is the max that a NA petrol can provide. Hyundai and Maruti engines of 1.2 capacity provide these. The 1.4 of Maruti makes 94 bhp while the 1.4 Petrol of Hyundai makes 100 bhp. They just need a 1.5 petrol that makes 100-105 bhp and they will sell 1.5 - 2 times more Brezzas and S-cross.

Well, Fiat Sedici - Maruti SX4 Sedan - Suzuki SX4 All the same, but are they?
For me Design wise , the SX4 Sedan with the 1.6 Diesel and the All Track system would be my choice in a heartbeat. With a mild upgrade in tech and a touchscreen (this is even more important than Airbags and ABS in India ) it could truly be the Butch Sedan Killer with an awesome 188 mm GC.

To me the FIAT Sedici and the S-Cross (Face lift-Non Face lifted) doesn't matter is a very awkward car. At the first look it tries to be a Big Sized Hatchback (like the B-class) and at the same time like a crossover SUV. Space and Practicality it might be Ok, but yeah its not the grille, or the lights... the entire thing just reeks of the designers being confused .

But, I must say as a car, it is supremely comfortable and practical.
