abhibh, I suggest you pull your post. Though it's sloppy coding, we arent supposed to publicize security holes.

Hi JK,

The HU is for the petrol Verna only. And they are doing the same with Verna CRDi as they did with Accent CRDi. No HU..

Thanks

Hi...
I read the specs in hyundaiverna India site. They say..rear brakes, ABS. that means no EBD? Also there is no ad in today's Hindu. Aren't they releasing today?

One thing definately good for ICE enthusiast is the double din provision given in the Verna! and well, i say its good at times they dont give any music system at all, and let the customer put his own.

This has its pros n cons as some ppl dont find it good spending extra for a music system at an aftermarket store. while some would be happy that they now have the choice of putting their favoured music system.

When the system is given by the Company itself, then 2 things can happen... one, the person might not change it and bear it thinking that its a waste of money now to spend on another HU. OR the person might dump the OEM system and go in for a better new one.

If he goes in for the New one, then again 2 things could happen... He could either Exchange it with a new system and save some money, or he could just dump the system in his garage, and spend new moolah for the new HU.

Basically, the customer is paying for everything that the Manufacturer is providing. nothign is free. so rather spend that money wisely!

I went to the showroom today & they did not give a definite price. Instead just a range & the strange thing was I saw one for test drive & another one being driven away by someone. I am guessing a delivery has already been made.

This is weird considering they are only giving a price range.

Petrol between 7-8 lakhs & diesel between 8.5-9 lakhs (both ex-showroom)

This is pretty expensive for the petrol.

Hyundai launches Verna @ Rs 6.21 lakh

Hey Guys,

Check this out.. Was reading and came across this..

http://www.business-standard.com/com...IN&autono=6058

If we go by the specifications that we were discussing in the newsgroup.. The diesel version for 7.35 lakh is definitely going to be a killer (This is almost the same as the old crdi)..

Keeping my fingers crossed and waiting for a test drive of the diesel engine as of now.. ;-)
