That is true and "understood". But its actual design is still under camouflage. I think it will take some more time for the new design Rapid to make appearance without masks.

Nope Sir. The head lamp cluster on the white Rapid remain camouflaged. The portion covering the turn indicators have only been cut out on the white Rapid. As such, the mystery around the final head lamp cluster design continues to remain.

The styling is finally concordant with Skoda's new design language and takes its visual cues from the elder sibling, Octavia.

On the mechanical front, the 1.5 TDI gets a power bump to 110BHP though petrol motor remains untouched.

No 1.2 TSi even with facelift? Safe to assume the Rapid is never going to get it, which might be a bummer because of the shifting preference to petrols. I've suddenly started seeing quite a few petrol Ventos on road in Bangalore. New front definitely looks smarter than the VW sibling's.

That's the European Rapid, this one is the Indian Rapid with the New Fabia's Face.

BHPian Velu M had predicted that Rapid Facelift would have similar face of the Fabia & he was spot on. Credits to Him

Rear might see addition of Reflectors and slightly tweaked Tail Lamps.

They have made it look like the Rapid offered internationally. But if you compare both side by side, there are many differences. The size and shape of the headlights, the shape of the bonnet etc are the giveaways.

Its still the same car underneath, based on the Polo/ Vento that we are going to get here.

Looks aside, how I wish manufacturers start launching cars in shades like the one this picture. Man how I wish I get such a shade as OEM

The same old Silver, Black, Red, White..... have gotten so boring and monotonous. I feel the market is now mature enough to accept such bright/loud shades and the time is ripe.

Looks elegant. Resembles her elder sibling 'octavia'. I can see projectors on headlamp housing. Must be the top end variant. Wish they change the tail lamp graphics as I found the previous gen design boring.
