Yes, it is the silver. I have spotted the new Swift with either Bridgestone Ecopia tires or Apollo Alnac 4G's. Decent tires as per what good friend & BHPian Nikhil says. As this will be used for commuting and they are the best tires Apollo produces, so won't be changing them.

Btw, need help. Can an iPhone be connected to Swift's car play without the lightning cable/USB? To stream music via application.

If you are looking for wireless Apple Car Play I don't think the smartplay system supports that. But if you want to wirelessly connect your phone to stream music, you can do it via Bluetooth in media section.

Maruti reads this question.

News reads in another week's time

"New sporty variant of swift released - Swift RS"
With 2 extra ugly stickers on the side panels and a stupid spoiler.

If you are asking about the hot hatch swift sport in the developed markets, the sad answer would be a big NO. Not anytime soon, maybe never!

Absolutely not. Actually, I am a bit surprised. From a Figo, I went and got myself a Scorpio, which I still drive and prefer but as a local commuter, at places where I had to take the speed breakers at an angle, the Swift clears them head-on. I believe the GC is a bit higher with 15 inch wheels, though I may be wrong in this assumption.

There was also a road leading to a temple where we wanted to go and the Figo [classic] would have scraped but this made it without even rubbing its wind deflectors, maybe the stiff suspension helps, but the ride is very good as well. I am pleasantly surprised with the GC, it is more than sufficient for an urban environment.

Re: The 2018 next-gen Maruti Swift - Now Launched!

Thank you Sheel for the quick revert. I did test drive one, but its never possible to check this aspect during test drives. Most of the times, i have 5 adults in the car and this point is important. I am waiting for them to launch the AMT in top spec as I love the lights. I currently drive a Ritz and its headlamps have a horrible throw.

I think within a year Maruti should be launching the top spec AMT?

Mod Note: Our Swift Report has been taken live at this link. Please continue the discussion over on the new thread. Thanks!

I am unsure as to how much would the car sag with 5 adults, this is something which you will have to check out and I will suggest checking it out prior to getting one.

Maruti and its weird ways, launched the diesel Swift but no Zdi variant, now, no AMT in top spec.
