What is the price difference with Duster manual top end and Creta manual top end?

This seems to be priced reasonably.

Duster RXZ is 12.56 and Creta SX(O) is 14.49 exshowroom, but there are many discount offers on Duster.

Nevertheless, good pricing and exciting times ahead. But AT and AWD will be missed. In this segment AT is definitely needed!!

re: The Renault Captur SUV. EDIT: Launched @ Rs 9.99 lakhs

Checked out the Captur at the Renault Showroom today. Looks nice. Considering the similarities in size/dimensions w.r.t the Duster, one is not really wrong to call it the All New Duster.

One big concern will be the seating position for the driver. Tried the seat adjustments, but wasnt able to hit the sweet spot.

Interior space is similar to the Duster.

Boot space has reduced. Looks like the have boxed the section above the rear wheels / rear shock absorber. Hence no nooks inside the boot. Just one rectangular box.

Window line & Bonnet are higher than on the Duster. The glass area is shorter, so gives it a sleeker look.

Looks nice from the front.

The version on display is the Platine.

re: The Renault Captur SUV. EDIT: Launched @ Rs 9.99 lakhs

Very good pricing considering the upgrades over Duster, but the problem is that the "SUV"ish Duster and Creta are priced lesser than this "cross-over" car. Could face the same fate as S-Cross, IMO. The best thing they can do is to apply these changes to Duster itself, and undercut the pricing of Creta by a good margin.

I feel the price is slightly on the higher side for the Platine variant. As compared to Verna, it's expensive by a little over 1 lac. I am still waiting to see how it compares out with Verna/Creta/Ecosport in terms of features and then take a final decision between these 4.

re: The Renault Captur SUV. EDIT: Launched @ Rs 9.99 lakhs

I thought this undercuts Creta by around a lakh onroad going by an earlier post.

This car seems to be much better looking than Scross ( the first gen) by general consensus. I personally find it better looking than Creta and Duster too.

Guess Creta has its first real competitor.

Indeed a shame because Duster gets both CVT and AMT in petrol and diesel respectively.

With this pricing, Captur will cannibalize on Duster sales. IMO Renault should discontinue 110PS variants and discount 85PS to compete with Nexon/ Ecosport/ Brezza.

Interesting to note that boot space is less and interior space similar to Duster in this longest and widest vehicle in its segment. Where was the additional space wasted? An intruding dashboard coupled with an out of proportion tilt adjustable steering and height adjustable seats could be the reason for bad seating position.

re: The Renault Captur SUV. EDIT: Launched @ Rs 9.99 lakhs

The car looks good from the outside. But the dashboard looks like its out of an 2 gen old entry level hatchback. And this for the top variant. One definitely will not get the feel of sitting in a 17 lacs OTR car.

I agree with some of the earlier posts. They should have improved the dashboard and called it the Next Gen Duster.
