I tested it on the track. Could consistently get sub 12 second 0-100 runs. But then it was the light weight space cab with skinny tires.

The previous space cab version was 1650kg kerb weight, while the present single cab is 1695kg.

The V cross, with all the creature comforts and 4x4 drivetrain weighs at 1905kg,
so a difference of 250kgs resulting in time difference of about 3 secs in the 0-100 run.

Upon reading your post, just called and checked with Krishna Motors . They've confirmed the RTO databases at both Panchkula and Mohali (and Chandigarh) have been updated.

I'm guessing it's because a mammoth two tonne pick up truck isn't the ideal subject matter for those parameters? But yes, they haven't pointed out the lack of BTCS/LSD either!

Stuff added was -
1. Alpine coaxial SPR60 - 6.5 speakers rear doors
2. Alpine components SPR60C - 6.5's front doors and tweeters
3. Alpine PWE S8 powered underseat subwoofer
4. Alpine PDX-V9 4+1 channel amplifier
5. Pioneer AVIC F80BT
6. STP dampening on all doors
7. Reverse camera
8. 12 gauge wiring for speakers(volt) and amp wiring set (Scoche)

I got the system setup from Motor Concept in delhi. Only the stuff mentioned in 5-8 were procured from motor concept, rest from other sources.

Fabrications of oval speaker brackets holding the 6.5 components and overall work done by Aman and team from Motor Concept was impeccable, with proper attention to detail.

Only issue is that the calling function on the steering hasn't integrated well with the stereo.

Individual items I chose have turned out very well and the system sounds fabulous. 🙂

Greatly appreciate you sharing the set up. As turbanator has rightly pointed out makes it that much easier for the those who follow you into taking delivery of their Vcross.

Could you elaborate whether it's the calls that do not connect or just that one can't control the connection from the steering wheel but the call quality and patching is otherwise acceptable? Can the music be controlled easily from the steering wheel control?

The alpine stuff collectively cost about USD 930 and was procured from US.

The music functions can be controlled from the steering however can't pick or disconnect calls from the steering. For that I have to use the touch screen on the audio system. No issue with call quality.
