HI All,

I am planning to purchase a Hyundai Santro XO this diwali. The ex-showroom prices for Indore given on website is 377,045/- while the ex-showroom prices given by dealer here is 393,000/-.

What I would like to know is why such a discrepancy between ex-showroom prices on website and thru dealer? has anyone from Team-Bhp came across this discrepancy? Are the dealers taking us for ride by charging invisible taxes?

Or, does anyone know, what all taxes are computed in "ex-showroom" prices of a car?

Thanks,
Sid

Hi,

The websites prices are not always up to date. They also mention it ont he websites that if you need the exact pricing you should contact your nearest dealer.

I would presume the ex-showroom price has all the "central" taxes, but not the "local" taxes (octroi, RTO etc.)

Inter-state I understand there could be price difference. But here in MP, I called up Hyundai dealers in Bhopal and Indore and compared their prices. While Santro XO is cheaper by 4000 in Bhopal, Verna is 3000 Rs. more:Frustrati (ex-showroom).

Just dont get it  . At least prices in a state should be uniform!
