from the above discussion it is clear that MSIL is following the steps of HYUNDAI
1.just like santro,wagonr will also continue(after launch of i10 // splash)
2.splash will be placed b/w wagonr and swift ,just like i 10 b/w santro and getz

No, Splash wont be placed between the Swift and WagonR, but as a alternative to the Swift.

ram
Splash will come in both petrol and diesel versions.

Moderators can we have a change in the title of the thread, Splash is not a replacement for the Wagon R but can be placed between Wagon R and Swift.

Nicely put Busa. Basically it will be an extra option like the Estillo is to the Wagon R.

Guys if you are waiting for the Splash, I dont think it is worth it, it will not be launched in the near future, atleast not in next 3 months. It will the Dzire first and then Splash.

No way it will go 3 more months,it would be march or april first week not more than that. The launch is already delayed by 2 months. The issue is that the training for dzire is not over yet. After the training for dzire we can expect a gap of 15 days and then the splash training would be scheduled and over in 20-30 days time.dzire training would be over in 10 days time .So we can expect the launch by april first week.

Today while having lunch at my office cafeteria, i noticed a fully camouflaged car being tested at the Maruti testing facility, which shares its boundary with my office in Gurgaon. Couldn't take any pics though.. :(
I wonder if it was the Splash! If so, why do they need to cover it within their own premises? Do they fear our office employees taking spy pics from the cafeteria?
