Dciete,they might be fearing you guys.The car is all set to be launched and my hunch feel is that they are having enough stock too.The training for the sales and service dept is the only issue now.

Ok, but the Dzire has still not been launched. My local Maruti dealers denied even the existence of the Splash, so i'm doubtful it'll be launched anytime soon. It will really break open the diesel small car segment though, much like the Swift DDiS did with "premium" small car segment.

elfhelm,you got it right.The diesel revolution though started by indica in the segment the splash could take it to another level.

I was present during the Delhi Auto Show and Maruti folks said that the Splash will only be launched after Sep'08..that's close to diwali

Cervo will be launched as a B-segment car..while the Splash will replace the Wagon-R.

i was talking of the splash,and i am sure here is no way it will be sold below 3.5-4 lacs

one of my friend spotted Suzuki Cervo on Mumbai pune Highway. it was in orange colour.uncovered.. only the suzuki logo was covered with tapes..

I'd gone to get the WagonR serviced for 20K kms and after a Bangalore Mumbai trip last weekend.

The service reps at the workshop said there's a not much chance of the Splash being released in the 1st half of this year.

cervo is 660 cc if i am not wrong..but anyway lets not deviate from the topic..indeed splash will not be here soon

but if the replace the wagonR with splash then they will have all their cars with new age looks and can change the image of maruti suzuki in india,but i feel its high time they also replace the 800 with the cervo

Ahhh.. So this is what I saw on Mumbai Pune highway today !! It was heading towards Pune, in the opp direction to where I was heading. So couldnt take a pic at all.

But whats a Suzuki doing in Pune?? ARAI is testing it? Initially I thought it was a Merc A class.

From the latest news i feel the heading of the thread has to be changed.It wont be here soon.I dont know the exact reason for the delay but its sure to be delayed.The only confirmed launch other than the dzire is a-star as of now.
