So, I relocated from Pune to Gurgaon in 2014, just after my wedding.......But the next fifteen minutes bore the fruits of labor of last 1.5 years. This was the only car of all the test drives of which we didn't want to step out. Maybe we wanted to take it for another drive.
That was the sign! Beyond everything about budget, body type or segments; this was the car we wanted. It's like the love. You search it for a long time without realizing what exactly you really want.
You know in an instant it when you find it. It fulfills you. |
What an absolutely splendid piece ! atnyia, this is from the heart - your gift for natural prose is enviable. I am not talking about the subject matter (we all go thru' bouts of deep indecision & heat-burn at times, particularly on such core issues as cars & food!:D) but about your writing skills. Take it from a frustrated, aspiring writer, mate - you have a great future ahead of you in the literary field, should you take the plunge!

Shashank, thanks for your kind words. I am truly flattered as well as encouraged by your praise.
I have simultaneously read through my post several times. All I could find were several typos and missing 'the's at several places.
Rest assured. One day, I'll write a book.
My last 2 purchase history
1.No mood to buy a car and if i would have bought would have been a fortuner or endeavour. Given a unasked test drive of a premium SUV ( Your preferences travel fast) by bringing it to my workplace and that too randomly. Bought a competitor SUV a few lacks more expensive because it was more value for money
2. Was looking to buy a s class or similar segment suv/sedan ended up buying an endeavour because again value for money

Of course there were typos & missing articles here & there - but I was looking at the larger picture! And there was no mistake there - it was a great attempt & just a bit of polish (scratch the typos & articles) and it would be a very satisfying piece. I wish you all the best!
