Is Deca an Ignis or is it another brand from Maruti or is it any other car? What will be the fate of the current Ritz and the Swift?

^^ Seems it's indeed another limited edition Swift. There is a contest announced on Maruti Swift official FB page.
Considering how prominently they are showing the football jerseys bearing the number "10", I am guessing a new Limited Edition Swift with 10 "new and exciting features".
As for the contest, 10 winners stand to win vouchers worth Rs 2,500 each if they guess the answers to the 10 questions correctly, which will be posted between 11AM-2PM today.

If it's a limited edition based in the Swift it seems to be based in the top variant with keyless entry and start stop button.
That's a change from the usual ones based on the base or mid variants.
Or is it going to be something special considering the Swift is at the end of its lifecycle? Something like Zen Carbon /Steel? Less chances as there are no two door Swifts made in India unlike the two door Zens made in India for the export market.
But there is no limitation on dreaming.. right?
My guess is that the Deca is a short for Decals which probably could be a swift with some decals - maybe racing stripes apart from 9 more features since it mentions about the importance of 10 in sports and I guess that way 10 new features would be introduced. Like mentioned above, it could be keyless entry, some decals maybe, Daytime running lamps, new alloys etc.

Looks like stock clearance sale of Swift. If 10 was the point of reference, they could have launched this last year, when Swift completed 10 years in the Indian market.
They should at least now bring in the wow Swift Sports, available abroad, with features galore, great interiors, projectors and interesting paint themes. Will certainly increase the shelf life of the brand.
My friend was looking to buy the fully loaded LDI limited edition which was launched recently but couldn't get his hands on one. Did Maruti produce one or was it just a rumour?

The key fob shown in the teaser video indicates that the upcoming limited-edition model could be based on the top Z trim, as Maruti offers key-less entry and go only on the top trim of the Swift

Is there any 'Stop Limited Edition' public petition that all the auto enthusiasts and others can send to the Suzuki personnel who approves these limited editions?
A day at the neighborhood accessories shop will yield far less cringe-worthy results!
Just further evidence that it IS too much to expect Maruti to release a Limited Edition somebody actually wants to own. Actually, scratch that. The 'Windsong', 'Glory' and 'RS' (to name a few atrocities I can remember) sold pretty well, didn't they? Those are the only 'sporty' Swifts we're ever going to get.

There is a
paid article in IndianAutosBlogs about the 10 features coming in the Swift Deca.
Of the 10, only number 4 & 7 are new features.

All of the other features mentioned in the article are already present in the Swift Z models.
I wonder, how they decided on giving these two features? Probably cause the Grand i10 has them too. They could have at least given the SmartPlay system.
Looks like these are just the "interior" features. I hope the exterior features list doesn't include "Sporty Body Graphics" or something like that.

Can someone at Maruti Suzuki please offer me a job? I can definitely do a better job in such special editions and accessories. And I can be more creative with the names too.

Seeing such stuff assures me that expecting a bigger engine, better brakes, automatic transmission, more safety features are just dreams and nowhere close to reality. Next we will see one version of the swift with chrome slapped everywhere called the Swift 'Chroma' :Frustrati
