Skoda Octavia gets new Ambition Plus variant

Just booked a 1.4 TSI ambition plus at very good discounts.
Still funny how my sister got the 1.8 TSI elegance in 2014 at 21 lacs INR on road, which is now 25.5l INR in the style plus iteration.

However, what's shocking is that the sales rep told me that the 1.4 TSI has 150 horses, which I remember from 2014 and also from the official Team bhp review, is not true (it should be 138 bhp instead). After a quick search on Skoda's website, it turns out that the 1.4 TSI is indeed 150 bhp.

Have they bumped up the engine slightly to compete with Elantra's 150 BHP petrol or is it just done on paper, of course again for the same reason? Rather confusing.
