Sharing a pic I got . Not sure about the authenticity. I am sure they can make this though and hence the doubt. Sharing to confuse fellow BHPians too :)

Quite possible that Mahindra can revive the Armada brand though this looks like a photoshop work by someone to replicate the Wrangler and create a vibe, if the project is for real then this will be the poor man's wrangler

We are almost at the end of 2016, highly doubtful.
There aren't any test mules spied as well.

But the armada looks excellent, if only Mahindra put an effort into developing it.

Even if this is launched, how will they place it? What's the USP of this model in a market where they already have the Bolero / TUV 300 / Nuvosport / Thar?! I think all these have consumed the positions available - the Nuvosport itself looks redundant after the TUV 300's introduction.

This does look beautiful though.

Definitely a rumour - a Photoshop rendition.

No unwanted or hideous curves, no over the top design, no claws or paws in sight. That too from Mahindra, absolutely impossible.

Sorry, could not resist that.
stupid:

It's a nice photoshop job, but has absolutely nothing to do with an official Mahindra design.

Go anywhere near the 7 slat grille for a new product and one will end up with an expensive lawsuit from Chrysler. Mahindra knows this all too well.

Rightly said, looks like someone's been playing with photoshop (original source). Closing thread.

This is PS job. One simple giveaway... The seven slat grill. That's a design patented by Jeep (Chrysler). About a decade or so back (could be a little earlier though) Mahindra was sued for their grill design and they were restrained from any further copy of that design. That's why Mahindra vehicles do not carry those 7 straight grill design anymore in any of their new vehicles.

Don't want to carry on a discussion in a closed thread, but:
