I am also looking forward to buy a new car by end of this year. Hopefully Fiat will launch Grande Punto by that time. Then I will have an alternate choice to Swift Vdi.

Well i know the badge looks blue but i confirm it was red. The quality of the pic makes it look blue. I checked out the badge well as it was the first thing that i did

The email I received a week ago on enquiring about Linea mentioned that it is going to be launched towards the mid of this year. I'm confused though what he meant. We are already in the mid of the year.

Going by the way the Palio launch dragged on from one date to another, nothing would surprise me more if this did not show up till Diwali.

I stay in pune and i've seen 1 linea with no camouflage what so ever (except a missing fiat badge) running around on Nagar Road. Again, saw 2 heavly chequered ones near Magarpatta city. Guess the launch is somewhere round the corner. BTW, both were steel grey or some very light shade of sky blue.

Most probably in the 1st half of september. FIAT is currently working towards it. There are only 1.3 MJD and 1.4 Fire engines in the beginning.

I have searched on the web a bit about the launch of the Linea and most of the articles state that Fiat are supposed to launch it in September. I could be wrong though.

Cant wait for the car to be launched. Hopefully it is priced in the 7-8 L range.

Yup It should be launched around Sept. I had mailed Fiat about launch details & they said sometime around 2nd half of this year. I was like we already are in 2nd half. Sept - Linea launch, Oct- NNHC launch what more could any one ask for !
