Do you reset the readings? I do that at the start/end (or both) of each trip. You have to long press the OK button on the steering to reset.

I ran 2100km till date, mostly on 80kmph, only occasionally reached 100. Observed that we get good mileage around 80, heard it's good for engine to do so, till 1st service (may be I am superstitious )

Yes I do reset before every trip or whenever the figure is bothering me

Today I drove from E city to Tumkur Road via NICE road, I got 19 on NICE stretch (speed not exceeding 90-95) and 16.5 overall.

That's true indeed.I tool the delivery of car in first week of December. The SA was mumbling that Ford in not allotting them cars for this month and is rather concentrating on exports.

Between the updated ecosport and the updated s cross, any idea which one has better steering feedback?

Also between the 2 which one has better steering weight?

Thanks

I drove the Scross 1.6mjd and surprisingly found it very good. The new Ecosport too has a good feedback and feels accurate and weighs too confidently as speeds pick up.

I would rate the Ecosport slightly better than the Scross 1.6mjd.

I am guessing may be the dealer is giving you a car that was cancelled by other customer. Do a thorough PDI and if the car is good, simply go for it.

Could be 2017-manufactured. No harm in going for it, post a thorough PDI, especially if you intend to keep the car for long (4+ years).

Yes, it's a 2017 manufactured car. It's in the colour of my choice.

I already had the latest pricing sheet from Kavish Ford. Visited Hare Krishna Ford today at Nahur (W), Mumbai. There is a price difference I see on following items which I believe should be standard across all dealers in Mumbai

RTO charges
Hare Krishna - 1,45,500
Kavish - 1,52,400
Difference - 6,900

3rd year warranty with RSA
Hare Krishna - 10,024
Kavish - 12,524
Difference - 2,500

Is it possible that 2 different RTOs in Mumbai are charging different price? If not, would want to compare pricing from SC Ford as well so that I can go to Kavish Ford and question them about higher price when all other dealers in Mumbai are charging lower.

I feel this is illegal as it looks like Kavish Ford is showing higher price as RTO cost and pocketing 6,900 by paying rest to the government.

Hare Krishna Ford

Kavish Ford

Would request not to buy from Kavish Ford as the said dealer was named earlier as AVK Ford and has changed hands between the family. I had a very bad experience with them while purchasing my ES. They are overcharging then others which I came to know later. At one point of time I had to register a complaint with Ford India and they came in my rescue and resolved it. Even their service is also very poor. After that I shifted to SC Ford Vasai and am a happy customer now.

Thanks and cheers

The RTO cost that dealer mentions also has a handling/commission charges of the RTO so that can vary dealer to dealer. The excel sheet that i was sent by Bhavana Ford, Nerul helped me realised that. So check what's the extra cost that they are charging you over the actual RTO cost.

Suggest you try getting quotes from other dealers like SC Ford or even Bhavana Ford which are bigger dealers of Ford in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai.

Re: The 2017 Ford EcoSport Facelift caught testing in India. EDIT: Now launched at Rs 7.31 lakhs

Ford teases Ecosport Storm edition in Brazil. The teased images reveal a "Raptor" styled grill & two black strips extended over the bonnet and small air vents at the beginning of the A-pillars.It also sports black roof rails, black cross roof racks and a sunroof.
There is no news of Ford bringing the EcoSport Storm in India yet.
