![]() Hi, I am planning to pick up XUV 500 W11 AT for my wife. Ride comfort is a key criteria. We test drove HEXA and my wife in particular liked the HEXA's ride quality despite having 19 inch wheels. I have a few questions to current owners: 1 - I have always felt that bigger wheels don't offer a good ride but HEXA was an exception. The test drive of 18 inch XUV was though not bad but was not very good either. Do you think 17 inches will offer better low speed ride? 2 - How good are OEM tyres considering Bridgestone? Should I swap it with Michelin or Yokohamas? In my 3 series, I am quite happy with Bridgestones. 3 - I am not able to find credible headlamps upgrade threads. Has anyone experimented with Xenon HIDs for projectors of LEDs for high beams? Any recommendations? Long throw is what I need. 4 - Has anyone got front parking sensors installed? Mahindra offers it as an accessory now. Will it integrate in the overall system or just audible notifications? Dealers sales reps don't have any idea. 5 - How good is the HUD? I really find HUD a very useful accessory especially on highway trips. Appreciate your advise. Thanks in advance.

![]() @JD How much did the dealer quote. Approx 20 - 30,000 less from dealer quoted price would be optimal. @testing2000: Congrats, Happy motoring!!

![]() Hello Dr. Raghav! Did you take delivery from Velachery?, I think I was there that day around 3-4 pm while I was going ahead with finalizing my booking! (I saw a mystic copper in the delivery area) The dealer quoted about 89k and was willing to provide a discount of about 32k which still works to 57k, so this one is good; but the only thing is, the quote is loaded with almost all riders and add-ons and am wondering if all of them are indeed needed?

![]() Hey, My vehicle was in the velachery showroom after registration, last Thursday. Took delivery on Friday morning, and was there Saturday evening 3pm to get the plates. You might have spotted my vehicle ![]() Mine is the top end Automatic Awd and Dealer quoted 92k and offered a 20k discount. My agent got me for 63k odd with all the extras from company insurance, with additional multiple zero dep claims and return to invoice. Dealer was not able to match it and asked me to get from outside itself.

![]() @testing2000! "just miss ![]() That's right, I came along with my wife to see the mystic copper avatar up close, it is a great colour, sort of Purple and Crimson Red mixed. Hmm... the Velachery showroom is delivering quite a few XUVs and a lot of them on this forum as well! I did see the XUV in white, purple, crimson red, mystic copper and silver all at the same time (at the same dealership) - for some reason, the silver looked quite attractive - even though I had decided on the red, all other colours looked equally good!!!

![]() Can you share the cost breakup of the others? And where you got them done? Why don't you go with Mahindra sidestep? Looks neat. And if you have the 5000rs coupon, you can order it from Mahindra site itself. | |

![]() Without sun film, chennai heat will swallow you, even with full AC. I have installed 70% visible films that are mostly acceptable by Traffic poice, i am not very sure it is approved by govt., but i was able to drive my old car with 70% films.
