Re: Peugeot 208 facelift caught testing in India

TCS is doing complete development on behalf of PSA India. Mostly all the component vendors are interacting with TCS & not PSA.

Yes, this is really the first generation Peugeot 208(2013-2019)
Hope they don't launch this generation in india.
The first generation global production ended in 2019 and continues production in Malaysia.

Attaching the interior pic of this car (2017)
It doesn't look appealing by current standards.
Reminds me of the maruti suzuki a-star

Re: Peugeot 208 facelift caught testing in India

Hi All,
Hoping my post catches some eyes and I get a response
Well, I am looking for a vehicle in Switzerland that would serve me (primarily) as a reliable vehicle that I can take for highway/autobahn for seeing Europe and also (secondarily) as a daily commuter. This would, eventually in 6 months, be sold back to private buyers or a dealer (i prefer online e.g. autolina.ch)
I saw a Peugeot 207 recently which is in a good condition and has a valid road fitness test till Nov 2023. The shocks are good, engine bay looks nice incl levels and condition of the fluids, no underbody leakages, tyres (both winter and summer) have adequate wear on them and car was regularly serviced. The car body looks good except minor scratches near trunk area.
There were no niggles I found during a short city TD. However, there is some rusting on the underbody.
The price quoted is 3500 swiss francs.
I wanted to know if this might be a good reliable vehicle (in general, do 207s have any known reliability issues or niggles) for driving maybe around 6-8k kms around Europe. A comment on the price would be helpful too although I'm checking whats selling price point for similar cars online or at dealers.
Although I don't claim to be an expert, but happy to help other prospective buyers with how I did my used car search here. Please DM/PM me if you're in Europe and looking for a used car/process in general and want basic advice.
