As far as I checked the above information is correct, but I could be wrong. Can GTI owners confirm the color code mentioned in the door jam.

RC Smart card says Flash Red

Yes, the GTI did that to me today. Beautiful in red, the two doors make the car look smaller in a sporty kind of way. Four doors look cluttered by comparison.

Superb-looking car! I wonder if the owner of _________4__4 is among us here?

Absolutely. 2-door looks beautiful. And they are huge, from inside, they give a feeling of traveling in a volvo bus or shatabdi - massive glass on the side with no end in the sight practically - B pillar is not visible unless you turn your head back. I am loving it!

Just got a call from the dealer (B U Bhandari, Pune). They have received a red GTI today (new, not a test drive/media car) if anyone is interested.

Looks like they have sold a decent number of cars here in Bangalore. Last week spotted a silver GTI for the first time. Actually two silver cars spotted in the space of half hour! Have spotted more than a couple red and black GTI's in the past. Surprisingly yet to see a white one on the road apart from the TD car.

99.9% people think it's just another Polo. But at times have also come across some people who strain their necks to have a good look at the car and have also seen some enthusiasts reacting as if they have spotted a celebrity

I stretched out to look at a red one today, but turned out to be a souped-up GT, the 4 doors gave it away!

Not sure what is the latest on stocks are... Is someone tracking?

I finally got my hands on one and been driving it since a day! What a beast! Anand, it's the same last one that B.U. Bhandari had! Again, i want to thank all you guys and help whoever is here on the forums to get more info about wanting to buy one. I say GO FOR IT ASAP! It's worth every extra penny!
