But, Mitsubishi is so much Snaily-wormy, they (Renault-Nissan) would soon be fed up and quit. Unless they buy out Mitsubishi completely, dissolving the triple diamond brand itself, nothing is going to happen.

Re: Mitsubishi India lists new Outlander on its website

Looks like the plug in hybrid version of the Outlander is the ace up in their sleeve. The normal petrol model costs 32-33 lakh while the plug in is supposed to cost 35 lakh.

Just like how the Toyota Camry hybrid massively outsold the regular one leading to the discontinuation of the regular one, the plug in Outlander has enough of a niche considering that electrics or hybrids of any sort are rare in India.

The plug in hybrid at 35 lakh is good value for money.

The new Outlander has arrived at MM dealership here in Bangalore! Looks straight out of Alien series, IMHO. What is with vehicle designers these days - first the new Fortuner, now this where are the good old straight lines?!

What? It's not been launched yet? I spotted one with a red number plate in Nerul, Navi Mumbai a week back. Thought it's a showroom test drive car.

Looks like the Outlander has been pitted against the Endeavour and Fortuner, going by its price. So no way Mitsubishi can get the latest Pajero here.

At this price it looks like they just want to show that they are still alive and not actually sell anything.

Outlander is a totally different machine compared to the endeavour and fortuner. The Pajero sport is what actually competes with them
