According to the webcast, they have priced the estilo very well. The price starts with LX of 3.2 ex showroom, and high end VX with 3.7 ex showroom, with LXI being somewhere in between. It would be interesting to know the specs of these vehicles, but Khattar did mention that these were "introductory" prices. Nevertheless, for those fed up with Hyundai's tactics of high cost of service and stuff like that, it would be interesting for people to have a choice of peace of mind with performance and service from the maruti stable. These are sign of things to come what with the 1.3MJ diesel swift and baleno on the cards.

Kudos Maruti! Keep it up.

The site[webcast] is working for me,the main part is over now.

1>.There is no diesel zen.

2>.Zen estilo in three variants lx[Rs 3.17lakh],lxi[Rs 3.45lakh] and vxi[Rs 3.70lakh],prices exshowroom delhi and are introductory.

3>. Zen estilo vxi to have abs and airbags[optional or std not sure but maruti atleast is going in the right direction]

Why only 1 airbag for the driver?? Even the WagonR has one for the passenger.

Its a nice move by maruti but ir didnt kindle my liking. I would have liked if it was more on the liks of fiat palio or toyota yaris, which looke sleek.By the way, any one checked the website fo Estilo... man it's crap and takes time to load.

maruti.... website cud have been better.

Was browsing through the Zen estilo web site.Maruti is at it gaian with the L,LXI and VXI fundas. Not much value addition though.I wonder why our ALL NEW ZEN Estilo dosnt even have 60:40 split seats, or adjustable rear head rests, rear wipers, vanity mirrors etc...... how much are they gonna cost them in mass production. Indian car manufacturers should learn to provide these small but important things as a virtue.

rear design looks pathetic here.....
The rear looks like they sandwiched the Wagon R in terms of height, and just cut away a quarter of the rear lights..!!!

Well the car from inside has quitea few goodies especially all 4 PWs which is absent on the Wagon R & if its is placed cheaper than Wagon R or even close to it It just might start killing the Wagon R as it has bothe the space & engine of the Wagon R which people look for while buying a Wagon R.

Theres no doubt that they got the pricing spot on! That makes overlap a bit easier but inevitable nevertheless.....the Estilo alongwith the Alto and Swift brigade are the three most important products to Maruti.

I spoke to someone who has had a brief drive in the new Zen. Apparently, the ride quality is very good for its class, the engine nice to drive and FE (from the WagonR) and the interiors are bright. But a bit cramped. Whats amazing is that its actually not a new design at all. But Maruti has done a good job of sprucing it up to make it seem so.

According to the specifications on the website :

Width == 1475 (LX, LXi) and 1495 (VXi).

20mm difference? Maybe the skirts arent standard equipment.
